    Thats a good idea Infiltrator, but the only people I think could get it right don't RP for me.

    Actually, you could do either if you like. If someone else wanted to do "real life" stats of you, that's fine too. Actually there was a rather humorous thread like that for awhile in Lit.

    A number of skills and feats have been rendered useless, they nonetheless exist and can't be replaced - I've used these to give the character more consistency ; the character has a high power level but I don't intend to have him fight any PCs (or anyone), I use the character as a plot device and with as much subtlety as I can conceive.

    Congratulations, Wizards of the Coast, for winning the 2002 resdundancy award by allowing the creation of dual Jedi/Jedi classes.

    Wouldn't something like Jedi Councilor/Sith Lord be a little like playing a Ranger/Fighter or Specialty Priest/Non-Specialty Priest or Magic User/Sorcerer?

    Sith Lord is a Prestige Class, so it's not really like you're playing a Jedi/Jedi (that's actually forbidden).

    A Wizard/Sorcerer, btw, isn't that stupid. The monk in my party long blessed me for my ability to cast Mage Armor 4 times a day ; that was a level that proved useful and still does now that I've made Bracers of Armor for the two of us, since I can still cast a nasty Charm Person 4/day that's DC 17(I'm now a Sorcerer 1/Conjurer 12 Lich - forbidden school is Evocation, and I've a focus in Enchantment).

    If we follow the title of the thread Create Yourself as a RPG character , then we should actually follow it.... which means we've gotta com up with rules for creation ^_^

    I've been thinkin 'bout this one for a few days, hence why I haven't posted anything back. Came up with a couple of criteria for level #s - some are practical, some are just stupid ^_^

    Age:
    If you are 16 or younger, begin with 1 level. If you are between 17 and 20, begin with 2 levels. 21 - 25, begin with 4 levels. 26-30, begin with 6. 31-35, begin with 8, and 40+ begin with 10 levels.

    Education (not cumulative):
    If you have graduated high school (or will this year), give yourself +1 level
    If you have any college credits, give yourself +2 levels.
    If you have graduated a 4 year public/private school, tech school, or trade school (I think that covers it all), give yourself +3 levels.
    If you have a masters degree or Ph.D, give yourself +5 levels.

    Travel (cumulative):
    If you have left your country of origin, give yourself +1 level.
    If you have left this country more than 5 times in your lifetime to go to multiple destinations (not repeated visits to the same place), give yourself +1 level.
    If you own an airplane or private jet, give yourself +3 levels. ^_^
