Full Series Crews aboard Separatist ships in that era.....

Something I would like to hear thoughts on...

Reference material (cross sections books and sources following up on those) list low crew numbers for Separatist warships:

Recusant light destroyer = 300
Munificent frigate = 200

This leads me to think high amount of automation and a small (droid) crew,

or.....

a battle droid crew of that number as the droid does not have to sleep and maybe can plug in at or near their station to recharge...and a sentient/organic crew number that would be 3 - 4 times more for multiple duty shifts. I use this as an option because regardless of any automation being used...there are still crew areas / crew stations on the ships that droids sit at to operate the controls.
