209/7 after 50. 71 run partnership at the end. damnit. should have done better than that, given they were 138/7. still, 210 is obviously gettable.

I watched the South Africa game.. last 10 overs.

They should abolish warm-up matches if they're going to include teams like Netherlands in the World Cup.

Boucher was hitting them all around the park.

What's amazing is that Southa Africa scored those runs off only 40 overs - almost 9 an over.

Good work by New Zealand, they're looking to be a contender for the first time in a while.

That's ridiculous. At least Van Bunge didn't bowl any extras giveing Gibbs a shot at more than 36, I guess.

Loooks like we could have our first upset - Bangladesh only need 24 off 54 with 6 in hand to beat India.

    Ireland currently 66/3 (21.5 ov)

Irish / Pakistan game abandoned due to rain, but Ireland win the match via Duckworth-Lewis. St Patrick is watching over that team today! :D

    And Bangladesh routed India.

    LOLOL.

Ireland win by 3 wickets ;)

Hehe and I did like the images of Bob Woolmer on his Sony Vaio (obviously getting his plane tickets for home :p )

Well good on the Irish, but hey it could only happen on St Patrick's day...

******* *****. They're all ****. They better buck up for the Sri Lanka game. Sehwag should be dropped. Jammy ****.

I wasted my time watching the game when I should've been studying for my Maths final on Tuesday.

If they lose to Sri Lanka, they shouldn't bother coming back home. They'll get murdered.

The Pakistans are going home? Already? I didn't realise that... I can't get on to the ICC's world cup website, which is annoying; it just doesn't load. :(

    Great work NZ. :D

Amazing upsets lately. I'm really surprised that India lost. Bangladesh are really on fire, I tell you.

WOW. Six-a-rific! I wish I could have seen that.

Never! :p I did some, we're just waiting for the word....

RIP Bob Woolmer, Pakistan coach. :(

Inzamam-ul-Haq has retired from one-day cricket as well.

In other news, Australia smashed the Netherlands in their game, and England cleaned up Canada.

Flintoff didn't play - he was suspended for being out drunk after the NZ loss [face_thinking]

He has also been ascked as vice captain, and has been told he will not captian England Again.

To be honest I think this is fair, he should be setting an example to the younger members of the squad and after repeatedly being told to get his attitude in line this was the final straw, especially if you believe he fell of a pedelo in the sea and had to be rescued.
