    You're right, he didn't say he didn't like it.
    I guess it felt more like he didn't like it as much as he expected to on the 1st viewing.
    It sounds like this one is going to take 3-4 viewings to fully grasp what's going on.

    He seemed to have an issue with a certain plot in the story that depended heavily on alot of CGI and compared it to the issue with the PT.

    There seems to be an issue with star wars and CGI.

    I wonder what they mean by that... I mean, all the other reviews prasie the heart and emotion in the movie o_O On the other hand, I have no experience with "The national review"... sounds like tabloid?

    Oh how I miss the days when critics were all in agreement about how bad and tacky Star Wars films were. Back when the films were good.

    It appears to me that the more "main-stream" and accepted Star Wars have become the worst it has become.

    And you can see this trend started with TPM.

    The film is sitting up on RT currently at 93% fresh, with almost no bad reviews, yet the narrative in this thread is "disappointment".

    And on a Star Wars board, no less.

    SMDH.
