I'm not a specialist, when it comes to casus, especially if I've got to compare them with the Latin... I think I'll ask my friend, she studies classic filology.

 

Heh, I've got to choose a course to do at Uni soon. At the moment I'm leaning vaguely towards French with Czech

Second place is European Studies with French, third is Eastern European Studies with Russian/Polish/Slovene/Croatian/Serbian/Bosnian/etc.

Well, one of them. The local Uni's don't seem to fancy doing anything normal, like French with French.

 

But, don't you have any other kinds of courses? Sociology, law or something? Or maths?

 

No, I don't do them. British system is weird: Year 9 you do 17 subjects. Year 10 and 11 (GCSE) you do abut 10-14. Year 12 (AS Level) you do 3-4 subjects and Year 13 (A-Level) you do 3.

I do 3 at AS currently: English lit, French and Music.

These are the courses at Uni I am limited to.

 

I want to study palaeontology, but that course no longer exists anywhere in Croatia. I'll have to go abroad...

What about archaelogy? You could graduate from university in Croatia and specialize further abroad.

 

Heh, you should see all of the weird stuff they have for Archaeology on UCAS. It's mad. I think you would commit suicide just thinking about which one to take

Archaeology is also very cool, but it is not nearly as fun as palaeontology.

Archaeology is more connected to social sciences, like history. I'm more interested into natural sciences like chemistry and biology. That is why I prefer palaeontology.
