Cross Sections

I was just thinking today how cool it would be if there was a cross section book on the EU. TPM has one and the OT has one. So why doesn't the EU? I think if they had one they should put in:
An Interdictor (sp)
the Wilde Kardde
the Jade Sabre
a Z-95 Head Hunter.

Anyone have any other ideas?

 

I would love to see it. How about the Lady Luck and some of the fighters too.

 

I'm guessing the reason is that those books have a pretty low profit margin, because they're expensive to produce and don't sell a whole lot of units. Like the Dark Forces GSAs. The ones based on the movies make enough money to make it worth it from all the "casual fans," but there probably aren't enough EU fans willing to dish out the $25 or more for one of those big, short books. I agree it would be neat, though. Hopefully we'll get some high quality full color pics in the update for EGtV&V, or possible in the Fact File.

 

Good point. Is a new EGV&V in the works? That has always been my favorite EG.

 

Not that I know of but it's the next logical step after the NEGTC

 

Barnes & Noble had one of the Cross Sections books for $6.95.

 

Saxton has a AOTC cross-section coming out from DK.

In all seriousness those are intended for children who are not avid reader. Still it would be interesting.

I don't think 8 years olds would be intrested in staring at power cores and engine drives.

 

I'd like to see Cross Sections of things like the Sun Crusher, The Eye of Palp., Centerpoint, and New Republic Vehicles.
