Pfft, Vong hating droids... I want the "Wookiee: 1; Moon: 0" retcon. I mean, we're talking about Wookiees, people. They use moons for bowling balls.
That Han is as bad as the old one! This time he looks like a snake, the way that the face meets the neck is terrible. Seriously, you'd think they'd put more effort into the covers of Big 3 books, considering how they're meant to be the main selling point of the franchise. It looks like someone messed up on Photoshop, forgot what the "undo" button can do and just kept trying to fix it. This cover: ugly. Sorry, but it's not pleasant to look at.
And Luke is wearing a turtle-neck and Leia has hardly any neck... who cares? Some people are perfectionists or just seem to like complaining...
I still don't understand what was wrong with the original, original cover, that had the full body shots. The Scoundrels cover was cool and they let it keep the full body shots, and didn't edit it into giant close ups of Han and Lando.
They're really attached to the nuclear bomb going off in the background look. That would be the first thing I got rid of.
Slight difference between being a "perfectionist" and expecting decent, dare I say even high, quality from a product. Thanks for reducing an opinion to "complaining", just because it wasn't singing praises. If someone is being paid to make something that other people will then pay for, in hardcover no less (not cheap) then how about some quality? Anyway, since we know little to nothing about the plot, discussing the cover is pretty much all we can do at this point. With that in mind, I honestly don't care about Luke and Leia's neck "problems", as well as the rest of their image. Not outstanding, not awful, just very basic stuff. Sure, Luke looks like he's been beaten up until his face was nothing but mush, but that's about true at this point in the timeline so go for it. But that Han is awfully made. Plain and simple. A basic rule is that the cover should be attractive and/or appealing; bad Photoshop is not.
His neck appears to be eating his chin. BUT SERIOUSLY JESUS CHRIST SOMEONE PLEASE BUY HAN SOME NEW CLOTHES.
Luke tried but quickly shaved it off again after Kyle Katarn mocked him for not having the facial hair to pull it off right.
Correction: Luke tried, but the beard fell off when it saw Katarn's and realized its own infinite inferiority.
Wait...is that cover real? It's not on wookiepedia and this site hasn't made an article about it yet,
It was released on the SW book facebook page. It's also been updated on random house's site, as well as most other online book retailers.
I bet whenever Harrison comes across the covers of these newer books in the stores he can't help but think: "Dammit... why didn't George kill me off in ESB?!"
I would've preferred if Han died in Sacrifice rather then Mara. It would've made more sense for him to die then Mara. So what Jacen killed someone who he isn't even blood related to. Han would've been a bigger deal.
