dinner is usually at 6:30

that would be okay if I had gotten up at 4:30, but I got up earlier than that - I just hate preparing breakfast

which is probably why I wanted, subconsciously, to cut myself

 

Well, finally after two, nearly three years, I'm almost done with braces. I now have a "bite correcting" elastic on the left side of my mouth, and it hurts like a ************. In six weeks I'm going to get imprints for retainers, then hopefully three weeks after they come off. But for the meantime, it's another long period of tricky eating. The problem is, I took the one they out on there off when I ate lunch since biting was a bit of a chore, and I put a new one on, and voila, it hurts again. For six weeks I have to put up with this. One of which I'll be at camp, and chewy food will be hard to come by. This really sucks

the poopoohead postman part deux (actually it's more like part deux hundred, but it's only the deuxth time I cried about it)

usually the delivery guys bringing me my precious amazon orders come in the afternoon, sometime between 2 and 5

but every now and again, for no discernable reason, they decide to deliver my stuff along with the regular mail, which comes between 9 and 11 - and we never open the door for those, what do we have old people in the house for?

and usually that happens if it's something I'm waiting for
I couldn't care less when the V for Vendetta DVD arrives (only 8,45?!) but the other item is Inferno! (that's a SW book, my dear JCCers)

now I've got one of those stupid orange card thingies that tell me I can't go get it myself until the next day

and whatever happened to our neighbors?? They've accepted stuff for me before! Idiots...


great. now I'm bored. I planned to read all day long.

 

I am also experiencing delivery related anxiety. I have been waiting 11 days for a SW Lego delivery to arrive. No sign of it yet. Everyday I come home from work hoping for the parcel to be there, or for a 'missed delivery' card to be resting on the doormat - and then I wait an hour or so for one of the neighbours to phone me to say they took in a parcel.

Alas everyday there is nothing.

I have it, and it totally fell apart. Like from the binding... stupid cheap book.

 

Since this is an international affair, I don't think it would be right for me to kick Senny's arse. However, with the help of my envoy JayLo, I have received from the UN a non-binding resolution in favor of kicking his arse. Senny, you will be receiving this in the post within two weeks. If you do not respond, we will be forced to write you a more strongly-worded letter.

my English must really suck when I'm angry and/or annoyed, because I didn't have it at the time - that was the whole point! If I had, I wouldn't have posted at all the whole day.

Like I did today. Look it up, no posts until late night, after I had finished it.


Though no thanks to my local post office. Said orange card thingy told me to pick up my precious book there today ("next workday", actually, but today's not a public holiday or Sunday). So, I go there.
And am greeted by a "**** off, we're in a meeting all day long come back tomorrow" (worded differently, though) !!

I could have killed someone then. Fortunately, I remembered that a big bookstore in the city had Sacrfice last time I had been there (a day or two after I had finished it), so I tried my luck there. They did have it (though only one copy in the Star Trek shelf ), but now I have to send back the amazon one. Well, refuse to accept the package.

And I found out yesterday that the teaching position I was supposed to go into was eliminated at the last minute!

And I'm drinking pomegranate juice, and it tastes funny!

 

I had surgery today and can't drive for a week!

 

I have a headache.

 

I don't get to see my boyfriend till next saturday
