Did this Vanity Fair shot appear in the film? I assume not, since his mask is off here. Cool photo.

Have you seen it twice yet? I encourage all SW fans to watch TFA at least 3-4 times, minimum.

I saw snowtroopers, but not the scene from this pic.
Yes, it is a very cool pic!
Kylo is a great new character.

I must say, I love Kylo's outfit. The texture of his clothing, particularly his short cape and on the arms, is great. It really complements his powerful, stalking walk, as well.

Lucasfilm/Disney needs to put out a Kylo Ren birthday card that says "Look how old you've become."

the shot of Kylo with the storm troopers is a deleted scene that will appear on the Blu-ray (deleted scenes) I believe,

    here

Kylo boards the MF and reminisces about old time with his father, putting him in futher conflict with the light

Deleted scene. It was in the book, though. It's on Starkiller Base.

Bloody brilliant BigAl6ft6! No wonder he has it in for Finn...first he takes Rylo's seat from him with the cool kids then Finn tries to block him with the bird he's crushing on. Sometimes life's not fair LOL.

    -

So....i happened across this thread, and had to pop in and say hello.

The title grabbed my attention, not because it is a 'Kylo Ren Fan Club' ( which is great in itself..) but moreso because it reminded me of that hilarious poster that appeared in the background during the now-famous Saturday Night Live sketch featuring our favorite radar technician.

    A photo for reference.....

And here is a closer look at that poster.....
Notice a familiar thread title ....?

    'Cry-lo Ren'....indeed..!
I am surprised no one else has seemed to have noticed this!

This thread was created a good week or more before the January 16th episode with Adam Driver aired.
Someone had amazing foresight...or maybe it was just the will of the Force...?
Or MAYBE someone from SNL was prowling these Forums and took a little 'inspiration' from this threads' title?
    Hmmm....

    Either way, a cool coincidence.
    :)

Well anyway....someone just kicked my wrench again ( jerk face...) and i have to go.
I'd like to join the Club, as Kylo is awesome.
    He is beyond awesome.
He is a awesome totally in his own beyondness...and then some.

    :)

I noticed that rewatching the "Behind the Scenes" bit that it had "Crylo-Ren" on it. you can't actually see the poster, nor is the bit when "Matt" sees the poster in the original sketch and tears it down. This is only in the "Behind the Scenes: Starkiller Base" video, a deleted scene, so that's probably why no one has noticed. Good catch, though!

I saw TFA for the third time and I was really impressed, again, with Driver's acting performance. His vocal inflections are nuanced and interesting. Kylo is definitely one of the more unusual SW characters so far.

TFA gets even better upon repeated viewings. It moves quickly, yet the performances are often quite subtle. I am excited to find out what happens to Rey, Finn and Kylo.
The last scene with Luke and Rey is beautiful.
I feel like going to see TFA again today.

Totally agree - TFA just gets better with repeated viewings.
I've seen it three times so far as well, and the second time was by far the best.

I had missed a lot the first time around, and seeing it the second time made a lot of things come to light.
I also felt I could better concentrate of the story and performances, as the excitement of seeing it the first time with a lively audience contributed to not catching everything.

I knew after that first showing I immediately wanted to see it again ( as well as the next chapter..Ha...).
The second time was IMAX 3D in a showing that was quiet and not crowded, so I was totally sucked into the story and nuances of the characters.

I absolutely love Kylo's complexity and vulnerable qualities, as well as his obvious Force powers.
The fact that the writers decided to go with a more interesting and less straight-forward 'villain' is refreshing and for me very welcome.
Adam is perfectly cast for this eccentric, dangerous feeling character that carries emotional undercurrents that snap and sparkle onscreen.
You just don't know what he is going to do at any given moment, and desipite the disturbing things he has done you cannot help but feel sympathy for him in some respects.
    I love the conflicting qualities.
Very much looking forward to further exploration of his character..maybe learning more about his beginnings and how he was led astray.

Daisy as Rey is also fantastic.
Her naive but strong personality is a appealing, and the mystery surrenounding her backstory draws in your interest.
Really looking forward to her further character development as well as Kylo's.

I am so thankful that SNL decided to release that 'Behind The Scenes' segment due to the online success of the original skit.
Both of them combined are just hilarious.

I also enjoyed the out takes and seeing that humorous 'keep calm and kill the resistance' poster.
A real gem that is otherwised missed!

    :)
