ST Crystal Clarke in Episode VII

Ha! Seems many of us where right that Daisy wasn't Rachel. Odds of Daisy being a Solo/Skywalker just shoot through the roof, again.

On a seperate note, Crystal and Maisie look a lot alike. However Maisie has been confirmed as on set by Carrie's agent, so who wants to bet that they are sisters? On the alien front we have Alema and Numa Rar from the EU to draw inspiration from (not saying they will be them but not saying they can't be them either)... on the human front I'm hoping for original characters without family connections to Lando and especially without connections to Obiwan as some have claimed is a spoiler, but wouldn't mind if they're related to Quinlin Vos (as he was in ep 1, mentioned in ep 3, and in TCW... and in the EU had a son who could be the father of them).

 

I always thought Gilbert Gottfried should have voiced Watto.

 

Why do you say that? I don't think they look anything alike. As an aside, maybe I missed the press release, but has Maise Richardson-Sellers even been cast? There's been rumors and speculation, but I don't think anything has been made official.

 

I don't get what makes you think that Daisy is not Rachel....with this announcement or is not....or I'm i missing something?

 

The female walkin casting call was for 'Rachel' (and could be 'multiracial') and we've just been told the female who got picked out of that walkin casting call is Crystal. Yes, your right that this isnt infactial proof the two corrolate but again the signs point to such a likely relation. Crystal is [likely] our Daisy.

Really? Nothing alike? It's two skinny young women with similar hairstyles and skin tones. You know who looks nothing like them? A shoe.

I meant to say at least loosely similar.

 

I haven't seen most of the cast perform before and I already feel so confident that the acting will be much better than the PT's.

 

The lateness in the casting leaves me with serious doubt that she'll portray anything like a main character, more likely she'll be one of Lupita and Gwendoline'a nightsister's.

 

Wow, Star Wars right out of the gate. What a way to start a career. Unfortunately, it's all down hill from here.

On the plus side, when she goes back to school, she automatically wins any "So, what did you do this Summer?" conversations.

 

That was my first thought as well. If there ever was to be a live action version of the Nightsisters of Dathomir, I could well see Gwen as Talzin, Lupita as Ventress and Maisie and Crystal as her sisters...

I at least would be more excited by this than them all being Lando's daughters (this would basically make Lando--->Oberyn Martell with his sandsnakes)

 

I hope the delivery of her lines is crystal clear.

 

I hope she gets a lightsaber with a cool color crystal.

 

All of the colors of the rainbow!

 

I hope she is a dark side force user. I'd love to see Dark Crystal.
