    Hi all,
I have an upcoming scene I'll be writing where the police of my original planet are investigating a murder, and well, I have no idea how the police in the GFFA go about doing these things.

Is there a set amount of forensics in Star Wars? Do they know about DNA or fingerprints? Does their knowledge change between the PT and OT?

How do you think they investigate crimes? Any info will be greatly appreciated. [face_batting]

That's pretty much up to you. I'd say that crime scene investigation techniques are way more advanced than ours. You can basically make up anything you want. :)

this is sci-fi : of course they know about DNA and fingerprints! ;)

the question is, how are you going to get the DNA and where are the fingerprints going to be? [face_thinking]

    CSI help
