Any married men here that ever tell their wives "they are haunted by the kiss that she shouldn't have given you" as a reference to morning breath?

I was searching for a file for my boss and when I couldn't find it in the file room, I told her "If an item cannot be found in our records, it does not exist."

Surprisingly she got the reference, turns out her son is a Star Wars fan too.

I just saw one of my facebook friends post "Execute Order 66!", so it looks like it's rising in popularity; as if my facebook friends are any indication. lol

I always love it when I go to a fast food place and the receipt says "ORDER #: 66" on top.

Ooh, yeah, that's practically memetic. Though usually the picture used is from ROTJ.

The word padawan has very successfully been incorporated into cultural references.

Weirdly enough, I remember catching an episode of Hannah Montana years ago where she was in a secret romance and their code names were "Anakin" and "Queen Amidala" -- I always thought those were so weird to use given what ends up happening to that particular couple.

this happened the other day, There's a big bending machine where I work and I was told to bend something for them and I asked what program to set the machine on and they said 66. I immediately thought Star Wars so when the time came and they asked if I was ready I said "Execute Program 66" in my best Palpatine impression they looked at me like I was stupid lol but i was laughing and said "it's a Star Wars thing you wouldn't understand"

It wasn't until the prequels that "George Lucas ruined my childhood" made it into the lexicon

Reminds me of a cartoon I used to watch called Codename: Kids Next Door

The kids were having pretend lightsaber fights with torches and mentioned saving Queen Amidala. Lol but at the time, I think TPM was barely two years old
