Custom Icons submission thread

Hi,

Can someone please tell me where should I put up the icons I made? I put them in my Yahoo! photo album : http://photos.yahoo.com/nz4785641, it's just in "My Photos", you have to click on each thumnail to see the actual versions. I'm not sure because no-one else seems to be doing it this way...do I have to put it into my own website, like at Geocities?

 

I think it might be easier for us if your icons were on a normal web site, Lil_Lisa. But I think what you?ve got right now will work if you don?t have the ability to do anything else.

There seems to be some new Admins. I tried to make a ?Wrath of God? admin icon a while back, but it turned out looking like @#$%. I?ll be working on that for a while, unless someone wants to suggest something from the EU that I might be able to do.

 

Bria, the one with coruscant in the background...I think ? besides dont you only have one depa icon?

 

OH! My bad. I was thinking of a different member who I have NOT made an icon for. I believe that picture came from TF.N's multimedia files.

Maybe a white or off-white background? Maybe crop the pic a little closer to his chin? Maybe even leave some of the original background in there? I don?t know, I?m just throwing out ideas.

I believe your icons are of the wrong size, JGM.

 

No, they're correct AFAIK. They're all under 60 pixels.

 

The requirements are 50x50 GIFs.

 

10 new icons begins with Desann ends with Missle Boat Tell me what you think.

chissdude10 icons are the right size. The're 50x50, some of the pictures themselves are stretched, but they are all the right size.

 

I've always thought they allowed a slight variation, but I have conformed to the standard.

I thought the sizes varied also, when I submitted my first icon it was I think 40x40 or 60x60. But darthcleo who was uploading icons at the time told me to change them to 50x50.

 

Oh gosh, this is so embarrasing.... Well, JediSolo said it's best to put my icons on a normal website, but I have no idea how to build one! Could someone teach me? Please?

I worked with them and made them *way* better. My index page doesn't reflect it, but two versions of Samuel L Jackson are on my page. Opinons welcomed.

I agree with ReaperFett. The ads on any free site are annoying, but at least you can close them on Geocities and they have an easy page builder for those that don't know HTML.
