Cut scene from RotJ

    I saw this on RebelScum. Apparently it will be included in the BluRay release. I thought it was kind of cool, specifically the shot of Luke working on the green lightsaber.

    That was pretty cool - we listed it here on the front page of theforece.net as well with the information coming out of CV. It looks sweet, and hopefully Lucas will continue to leak more of those delicious tidbits of never seen footage as extras. Sort of fills in the blanks of him in Ben's home, making up his 'new' lightsaber. :)

    If you read up on Wookiepedia, it says that Luke returned back to Tatooine after losing his hand and constructed a new lightsaber from plans found in Ben's home. The cut scene actually shows him finishing the saber construction and igniting it, presumably for the first time. Brought a big 'woot' from the audience.

    Ah! Forgot other note - this is why Luke's ROTJ saber is so similar in design to Obi-Wan's ROTS/ANH saber.
