    From the minds that brought you The Kessel Run at CIV, they are proud to bring you The Bounty Hunt.

    http://www.starwarscelebration.com/en/Events/Bounty-Hunt/

    At the start of the race, each team will receive a race scorecard and an initial set of clues. Solving a clue will guide the team to their destination, where they will get a stamp on their scorecard from their target. Solving clues and earning the stamp might involve some Star Wars trivia, cracking a Republic code, solving a Sith puzzle, or even being able show your skill with a thermal detonator. Targets might have different amounts of credits on their head based on difficulty. After finishing their first set of clues and bringing their completed scorecard back to the Bounty Hunters Guild headquarters, teams will earn credits for their successful bounties and receive a second set of clues, leading them to new and more challenging targets. After solving a final series of clues and traveling the galaxy, teams will be competing to be first across the finish line at the Guild headquarters, with a full set of scorecard stamps to confirm that they found their most elusive prey.

    While the first round of clues might be considered easy and fun for the casual fan or the family playing as a team of bounty hunters, the later rounds of clues will increase in difficulty level but also will be worth more credits. The winners will be determined by who has successfully returned in two hours with the most bounty credits earned, and in the shortest amount of time.

    The Bounty Hunt is open to all Celebration V participants, but spots are limited to 100 teams per race. Bounty hunter teams must have at least two members, and no more than four members. There will be three different Bounty Hunt challenges:

    * Thursday (2:00 pm to 4:00 pm)
    * Friday (2:00 pm to 4:00 pm)
    * Sunday (12:30 pm to 2:30 pm)

    Registration for the Bounty Hunt can be done online by August 5 or at the convention, on the day of the event at the Bounty Hunt registration booth. Teams that register in advance online will be required to check in at the booth prior to that day?s event to confirm their team?s participation or lose their slot in the event. All teams, whether they register online or at the convention will need to fill out waivers prior to the race. Teams may compete in multiple races but they can register in advance for only one race.

    There'll only be one category this time around, right?

    I'm very happy that there will be three hunts! Fantastic idea! (And it's gonna be a lot of work; my hat's off to the team!)

    Ohh, we are only 2/5 of our team from last time going this year, but we'll see if we can manage it anyway.

    Sounds like a lot of fun! Though I don't know if I will have time to focus on the hunt between attending workshops and standing in the autograph lines.

    FYI: All the team spots allocated for online registration were filled last week. There still will be on-site registration as well, so you still have time to get your team assembled.

    Each day's race will have a different theme:
    Thursday: Prequel Trilogy
    Friday: Original Trilogy
    Sunday: The Clone Wars

    Not every clue will involve knowledge from that day's theme, but chances are, the stronger your knowledge is of that subject, the better you will do.

    I'm game for forming a team with someone. I'm currently a loner for Fri-Sat :(
    I'd be more keen for the hunt on Fri (much more of an OT buff).

    So, Obi Anne, MrZap, or anyone else looking for a partner/team, shoot me a PM if yall are interested :)

    I'll be there with one, maybe two, other participants. We'll have to sign up on-site.

    I love the opening crawl tool. Now only if there was a way to import it to use for home video instead of making my own.

    Does anyone have any information about the team Sithilis? I sat next to them at the main event and we got separated before we could exchange information. All I got was their first names. Tyler, Jon and Sara. I hope I don't sound like too much of a creeper but I'd like to get in touch with them. If you have any good info can you pm me?

    Thanks you James, and co-organisers, for this. It was great fun! Our team consisting of two fans and a non-fan had a great time until we lost our passport. You were very nice in helping us continue anyway, but we lost our energy with that so we gave up. I loved Thursday's question about the Padmé dresses, even if it took some time to figure out the name of the pilot.
