They're bombs. A while back, MSW described a sequence where the Resistance infiltrates an FO ship, and a "bomb squad" is described.

Everything looks amazing and everyone seems so confident. This could be as good as, or even better than, Rogue One.

I get the feeling I'm going to love the casino scene.

 

Could EASILY be better than nR1 (though I am someone who thinks TFA was better than R1... though to clarify, I loved both movies.) The question to me, is can it crack ESB/ANH. Those films have so much emotion tied around them for me, so that will be tough (though I think TFA comes close to unseating ANH for me, but NOT QUITE). I admit, depending on how the Luke story goes, this COULD me my favorite Star Wars film of all time. Hard to imagine that, but it is looking SO GOOD.

 

Wow, after letting my EP8 expectations rest for a while, this suddenly pops up. I gotta say I'm even more excited now than before. It sure is Star Wars, but at the same time very different. As is always the case with those wonderful creatures/aliens, we probably don't get to see more than a glimpse of some of them on screen.

Same here. After all this time without him, Luke's story, his time with Rey, and the revelations of the Force are going to be special.

And where the heck has Oscar been in these things. Maybe he's on a job, but I know he'd be KILLING the TLJ disco!

 

It's a special wall at the D23 where stars were recording funny dance moves etc to post on instagram etc. it included also people from Wreck it Ralph, Frozen, Marvel, Disney Princesses etc

 

Oscar is doing Hamlet in New York, so its hard for him to just run off to LA for the weekend.

 

I figured something like that. But I miss the best pilot in the Resistance! And he would kill the dancing.

 

This was one of the most interesting images for me. At first I thought this was a "red screen" as opposed to a green screen. But then I realized that doesn't make sense. This could be Snoke's throne room?

 

no way. Far too generic trailer ear rapey. But nevermind that, someone needs to replace the music with Meco.

 

Yea I'm pretty sure that's Snoke's Throne Room on the big ship.

 

That would increase the Falcor comparisons even more.
