    Caspar David Friedrich is THE painter of the German romanticism. And Hieronimus Bosch was a visionary in his times. Somewhere Middle Age, IIRC.

    Lascaux's a pretty cool place, from what I've heard. It's like 16 thousand years old and the cave paintings are so delicate that only a select few scientists have access.

    That's very beautiful.

    As far as artistic appreciation goes, I appreciate music more than painted or sculptured art.

    I love some kinds of art erratically and completely without logical reasons.
    I like almost everything that plays on optical illusions though. I grew up with pic by Escher on the walls and never stopped being amazed by it.[face_love]
