Oregon Daily Life

I so understand!!! I'm still in Savannah, Georgia, but I already have my plane ticket back to Oregon. I'll be coming in just a few days before Thanksgiving! I can't wait to get away from the cockroaches and the crazy humidity. I'm going to miss my friends over here though.

I didn't really like Savannah that much, but now that I only have a few months left, I'm really fond of it. I'm going to miss it a lot, cockroaches and all. Still, it'll be great to be back home with my family.

 

You're lucky you were only out for two days.

 

Yes, but only now is my back starting to feel better.

 

I've thrown my back out a time or two. Never a fun experience, to be sure. Often times I am still reeling from it weeks after the fact.

39 weeks on wednesday and ready to pop. My feelings on the inevitable expirence of labor pains and child birth have gone from:

- This is going to suck.
- Terrified.
- Lets getterdone.
- Can I do this?
- OMG. My body is going to be broken.
- I can do this... I have to.
- I'm ready!
- ...that is, until it's actually happening...
- Okay, I'm completely confident in my ability to give birth to a living being.
- (after having membranes stripped...ouchies) I...don't want pain meds? Right...I don't...
- I will be so relieved when it finally starts I will be excited for the pain!

and todays feelings:

- The pain of childbirth is what makes it so beautiful. I was created to go through the trial and tribulation of pain and overcome it with joy. That's the beauty of it- I have produced, with all of my being and resources, a beautiful life.

Ferynne is really cute! I really like how she's looking out in her 2nd portrait. I also like your 2nd Alp picture. It reminds me of Beru holding baby Luke, one of my favorite images. The Italian Alps are beautiful! Thanx for the photos!
