    And now the answer:
Art Bragg was definitely lying when he said he caught a cold while at the North Pole in the dead of winter. One cannot catch a cold at the North Pole in the dead of winter because the temperatures are so low in this part of the world that cold germs cannot survive.

ANSWER: He put a hole in it.

Sorry, BDZ, I would have tried to answer your riddle, but I wasn't even paying attention. I didn't see it until you posted the anser! :)

There are six ears of corn in an old tree stump.

If a perfectly healthy squirrel carries only three ears out each day, how many days will it take to empty the stump?

6 Days. He must carry his 2 ears, plus one ear of corn per day.

    Ok, how about this one:
There is a certain crime, that if attempted, is punishable, but if committed, is not punishable.

    What is it?

How many times do the hour and minute hands of a clock cross each other in a twelve hour period?

Technically, they never cross. They become parallel 12 times.

Ha, I stumped you..Call me the Riddler

They will cross each other eleven times as indicated at the times below.

    12:00
    1:05
    2:10
    3:16
    4:21
    5:27
    6:32
    7:38
    8:43
    9:49
    10:54
You cannot count 12:00 twice. If you consider several twelve hour periods in a row, the twelve o'clock coincidence occurs only once in each cycle. Therefore it is counted initially or at the end.

That riddle was too smart for you. You must have stole it from a web page somewhere.

There is a town in California where 10% of all the people living there have unlisted phone numbers. If you selected 100 names at random from the town's phone directory, on average, how many of these people would have unlisted phone numbers?

Zero. You just looked up 100 listed phone numbers.

Larry was out for a walk when it started to rain. He did not have an umbrella and he wasn't wearing a hat. His clothes were soaked, yet not a single hair on his head got wet. How could this happen?
