ST Daisy Ridley (Rey) in Episode VII

Leia was raised Organa and should stay such. She would definitely feel a stronger connection to her foster parents than to friggin Darth Vader.

I have it on good authority that Carrie's code name for this movie will Lulu Anglegrinder-Soupdragon. It's double-barrelled to give it that regal touch. I reckon it might be her real name in the movie as well.

 

Kira Skywaler. Kira Solo. Kira Organa.

All of those have a nice ring to them, could be legit.

 

For some reason, I think her full name will be Kira Skywalker.

 

I don't know if I have said this yet but I love the name Kira, it fits in the Star Wars world IMHO

 

My money's on "Kira Solo".

The wild card is her neither being a Skywalker or Solo.

 

The wildest card is her being a twi'lek.

 

I do think we've getting a twist towards the end of the ST with her character, hopefully not "I am father", but something will be revealed about her.

It was a hell of a job stuffing her into the costume but they managed it!

For the scenes filmed at Skellig with Mark and Daisy, what if Daisy has rescued/found Luke, he starts to turn and ends up fighting Daisy in lightsabre combat? She doesn't want to, but must? Don't think we've ever seen a Master/Padawan fight.

 

I don't think we'll be getting a repeat of Obi-Wan and Anakin

 

If I`m not mistaken there were two stunt doubles with them at Skellig. So I guess it will either be a practice or a full on fight.

 

My guess is training and probably the last scene of the film too.

 

If she is a Skywalker this would be a good way for Luke to have an offspring but move away from the Skywalker name later. Luke's daughter would be able to pass on the bloodline while at the same time give her own child a new last name. This would satisfy the fans that want Luke to have a legacy through a child while satisfying the fans that want to move away from the Skywalkers.

 

I like Fawn, it is so different! Seriously, when was the last time a main character of a major motion picture was named 'Fawn'? I can't think of one

But, sadly, I think it is Kira as well.

Here's a thought:

Bad guys search for Luke's apprentice and other Force sensitive people.

Daisy finds the lightsaber. Something (not sure what yet) causes her to search for Luke with the saber. She is pursued and eventually that chase lands them on Skellig.

She becomes heavily outnumbered, something happens with Boyega and he leaves her, but Daisy is actually rescued by Luke. A battle takes place and the good guys end up winning (with help from Han and Chewie too).

Daisy learns that she was being pursued for being Luke's apprentice. She is confused because she isn't. But then she is officially awarded the title of padawan and realize that she was DESTINED to be Luke's apprentice and that was what the hunters were reading by their mission.

 

I like that.

 

Maybe wanting to survive? Maybe she had enough close calls and John suggest that they find Luke so they can collect a reward and live to enjoy it?
