Ive seen a lot of people make the "it rhymes" comparisons with Rey and Luke and even Rey and Han.

Does Rey and Leia have any? Aside from the obvious, they both are females.

 

I've seen some terrible reaching with images of Padme bun (1), Leia buns (2) and Rey buns (3).

But that goes along with the obvious female comparisons.


I was looking more for if they each had actions that "repeat" each other between trilogies. Ring theory, and all that.

Heck even Finn and Leia did, when Han takes them to Bespin (Takodona) and Leia (Finn) are untrusting of the place, and Han has to reassure them.

 

They had:
both was tortured by the villain in their 19 years old.
It has been confirmed that Rey's hairstyle is a nod to Princess Leia



there's more but I don't remember now lol. Poe has more Leia's story parallel (Finn has less)

 

Finn is closest to Han I think (although you'd have to stretch it). And Rey is obviously closer to Luke than anyone else.

But that's the thing, none of the new Big Three are copy and pastes of the old one, which is good.

I think there is one glaring one which has not been released, little Rey. Am hoping if rumors are true is Rey with the sea monster in TLJ.

 

Luke will say: The sea monster is strong with this one.

 

I can honestly see a Kid Rey and Unkar Plutt two-pack.

 

What did I miss about a sea monster?

 

Maybe good idea, does Unkar have a pop?, Perhaps we get a more fuller view from the flashback for TLJ? Perhaps they are saving it for then or perhaps they may do it for a smugglers bounty box set?
