Dallas Comicon October 11-13, 2002

Tickets are now on sale! From now through October 6, 2002 you can get your tickets online. Buy your tickets now and they will be waiting for you at our Pre-registered Guest booth in the main lobby at the show. We do not mail tickets.

Ticket prices:
Weekend Speed Pass: $20.00
Weekend General Admission: $10.00
Weekend Kids Admission (ages 6-10): $5.00
Carrie Fisher Autograph Coupon: $25.00

At the Dallas Comicon, all admission tickets are numbered. Comicon ticket numbers will only be used to gain entry to meet Carrie Fisher. Customers will be called out by ticket number to meet Carrie Fisher, who will be signing on our main stage. (example: 1-100, 1-200, 1-300, etc). Customers who preregister for general admission will have a lower ticket number than those who purchase the same ticket at the door. Customers with the Speed Pass will have lower ticket numbers than general admission ticket holders. Speed Passes (a special braclet) are limited to 500 passes and only available online. Speed Passes will not be available at the door. (at past events we called these tickets VIP passes). Speed Passes and Weekend Passes are good for entry into the show and into the Heritage auction all three days. Kids passes are also good all three days. Kids will have the same access to celebrities as their guardian or parent.

Our main autograph room will be accessable to all customers during show hours Friday, and from 12noon - close on Saturday and Sunday. SpeedPass customers will have access to the celebrities all day Friday and from 10am-close on Saturday and Sunday (2 hours before general admission). Note: SpeedPass and General Admission show hours are the same: Friday 3pm-6pm, Saturday 10am-6pm, and Sunday 10am-4pm. Our annual pass holders will get the SpeedPass for this show and will gain early entry as usual.

Autographs:
Carrie Fisher: We will be selling "Autograph Coupons" for Ms. Fisher at the main registration table. We reserve the right to limit quantities. This autograph coupon can be exchanged with her representative for one autographed photo from her selection, or for one autograph on an item you bring.

All other Comicon media guests charge a fee to sign a photo or your item. You will pay those celebrities directly for their autograph. Please note, you do not have to buy an autograph to meet the guests. If you would like to say hi, handshakes are always free.

All comic guests will sign your comics for free. (quantity and books subject to artist discretion) Most artists to complementary head sketches and charge a fee to do full blown comic sketches. See the artist booths for details.

Two things of note:

1) They just added the panel schedules to the site. So far it looks like Carrie Fisher is only doing autographs, though.

2) Ray Park has just been added to the list of celeberties that will be there.

 

Just so you know the DFW Fan Force will holding a costume contest at 2:00 p.m. Saturday

And will be hosting a dinner Saturday night at Ojeda's on 75 Central and Park.
