    its really nice to be able to download a movie trailer (lord of the rings) and actually be able to download it faster that its playing, kind of a novel experience for me

    nah, just that with holidays and such the univeristy network is going pretty damm fast for a change, getting average 50-60-kbs at the moment, it'll get better too

    The highest connection speed I've got so far is 53999Kbps. But my download manager(Flashget formerly Jetcar) does my downloads pretty fast. usually 4 mins a MB

    EDIT: BTW I'm with paradise ISP anyone getting faster through them?

    i deal with ihug at home, but thats in the country, i'm lucky to get 2-3kbs there....but here at uni, wow......i dl about 25-30 full size trailers last night over an hour or two, talk about abuse:)

    Yeah Humble good old uni...Here at Griffith it's so quick :D, at home my connections so bad I can't stand to use it!
