Opposite my office and next to the bar I hang out in. But there's no way I can afford one of these.

    warehouse apartments

    £75,000 to £200,000.

But the £75,000 apartments are tiny. From my office, you can see into them and you can't swing a cat in them. And yo'd bang your head on the sloping roof.

    Hmmm...

The average house price in MK these days is about £175k.

    Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.

I still think owning something with stairs is possibly more exciting than an apartment though.

well, I asked for a brochure.

Ideally though, I want an old terrace, with three floors.

ED: So, I can make a room into a darkroom.

Two flights of stairs - postively orgasmic - imagine if there were stairs down to a cellar too...

On several occasions, I have proved it is also possible to fall up stairs.

Yes...when you are running up them too quickly and mis-judge where the stair is.

I slid down the last two in our house and cracked my (__!__).

    It was darn painful.

Then there's the curse of the Phantom Top Stair, which is there in the day, but not there when it's dark, thereby causing trans-landing duck-walk syndrome.

I tend to throw myself downstairs @ every opportunity. One minute I'm there, the next I'm not.

At Manchester aiport I actually fell down stairs backwards. But I managed to save my duty free.

If Jon has to get an operation on his knee...he'll need a stair lift.

That reminds me to buy a stairlift. I'm too lazy to walk up them properly, and they are much safer.

You have to laugh at our houses in UK. Ever been to North America, all houses there have a basement which makes it 3 floors of orgasmic pleasure. Plus u can swing an elephant and won't cost u half as much over here. Other than the Royals and a history and NHS what have the Romans ever done for us?

On the other hand, they don't get flooded to high heaven and ruin everything that's down there. One reason even if I had a basement, I'd never keep certain items there...

Plus the houses are always made cheap so when they get totalled in a tornado they're cheap to put back up. That's why they is always made from balsa wood and sticky-back plastic
