Damn kids!

    I gotta bitch for a second.
    I was going into a store at lunch today.
    I was walking straight from my car to the doors.

    A kid (probably about 10) was putting a cart away across the lane and then was rushing back to his mom at their car.
    He rushes across my path, and I have to slow down and veer around him so that I don't get run into, or run into him.

    His mother comments loudly to him when he gets there:
    "Wow, I thought he was going to run into you for a minute!"

    WTH?

    I refrained from informing the rude lady that her son almost ran into ME and that she should be telling him to be more careful and not run out in front of people.
    I didn't have the time to get into a confrontation, and she outweighed me by quite a bit - and I'm no lightweight.

    Damn disrespectful parents teaching their kids that it's ok to be disrespectful to others.

    Next time it might be a car, and it won't be so easily swerved as I was.
