Dear Mr. Naiman,

Thank you for your interest in the event. The charge is $20 per autograph for each celebrity, on your own item or on a provided photo. There is no charge to attend the event, but there is a charge for autographs. Please remember, this is an autograph event, but fans gathering and having their own activities is fine. We encourage people attending in costume, your favorite Jedi, Wizard, Elf or Super-Hero. The locations and time are listed below:

I am currently working with Tim on the details for setting this event up. We should have some info soon.

 

Do we have anymore details on this? It doesn't matter much to me since it's looking more and more like I won't be able to make it either day (Saturday I'm totally busy and Sunday is the meeting and clonetrooper workshop). But for any of our other members, do we have any further info on this besides "show up in costume"?

 

Not yet. All e-mails and phone calls have gone unanswered by the folks promoting the show. However they did have a show in the UK this past weekend, so they may be out of country.

For the Santa Ana event, we are meeting 1 hour prior (9 a.m.) on top of the parking structure behind the Mall (close to the 5 freeway, not the one on Main Street).

I will have my cell phone with me (you can get the number by PM'ing me) or just look for the Stormtrooper in armor.

We will then (hopefully) hook up with John (the event organizer) and then escort the celebrities in. If not, the signing event is scheduled to take place in the outdoor garden behind the food court area (near the Central Entrance on the back of the mall (again near the 5 freeway).

I am guessing that we will then go out for lunch afterwards.

John has finally gotten back in touch with me. While it was just an e-mail saying he just got back from London, at least he has returned a message. Right now we are playing phone tag.

I the meantime, please keep on planning to be there at 9 a.m. to get into costume. Again we will be meeting at the large parking structure on the "back side" of the Mall (near the 5 freeway).

I'll be at the Canoga Park event on Sunday. I don't know if I'll dress up or not, I've been ill this week... depends how I feel. Maybe I'll just go as a Jedi, that way I can dress myself.

 

Daniel Logan and Ray Park Autograph days ? Final Update

John (the event organizer) is back and I finally was able to speak to him on the phone. He definitely can use help for the event and anyone who volunteers will receive a full set of autographs from all of the stars in attendance. This includes:

Daniel Logan (young Boba Fett)
Ray Park (Darth Maul)
Sala Baker (who played the Dark Lord Sauron in Armor)

and the several Harry Potter stars including:

James Phelps (Fred Weasley)
Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom)
Devon Murray (Seamus Finnigan)
Oliver Phelps (George Weasley)

Time is short and while this event is smaller, John represents a great many of the Star Wars stars and will be lining up other events including appearances at Comic Con. Lets make a great impression and get folks out there in force.

We will be meeting on top of the parking structure at the back side of the mall (near the 5 freeway/Barnes and Noble in the mall). Don?t get confused with the Barnes and Noble across the street from the mall on Main Street.

We need Imperials, Rebels, Jedi, etc. Everyone who works the event will receive a full set of autographs for all of the stars (that works out to about $140 worth of autographs).

Sorry to not post yesterday, but I was offline building Clonetrooper goodies with our little merry band.

The Saturday signing event at Santa Ana Westfield/Main Place Mall went off very well. I would like to thank everyone who attend the gig. The crowds loved us, the celebrities were very nice (posed for tons of pictures) and everyone seemed to have a good time. At the event we had:

The mall management was also very enthusiastic and we also discussed future events (including a possible Halloween Charity event). Also in discussions with the event promoter, we were able to nail down the participation of several SW stars for our panel at Comic Con.
