Ben Affleck in tight red leather... *sigh*

To bad he can't act his way out of a paper bag-but at least he will look good doing it!

*wanders off to stare at Daredevil poster*

Have you seen Chasing Amy or Changing Lanes. I attribute most of Afflecks less than stellar perfomances to the "directors" he works with.

And He does a great job as both DD and Matt Murdock.

Ben Affleck is a serviceable actor: not great, but not horrible either. He gets the job done, and what's important for we ladies is that he looks good doing it.
I'm sure he'll do justice to a comic book hero because, at heart, he is a geek too. He might marry the high maintenance Hollywood star, but he undoubtedly keeps a nice comic book collection stashed away somewhere, right next to his Anime library and action figure cabinet. Mark my words.

I was complimenting Affleck's perfomances in Chasing Amy and Changing Lanes.

I would never dis Smith, he is genius from his work in films to the comics he writes.

I think the Naboo Queen is in charge of an official announcement, so hopefully that will be coming any time now.

I think that Affleck with do well with the role. I am looking forward to seeing Michael Clarke Duncan and Colin Farrell as well.

MundiJade- The place is the cinema at the Glendale Mall, but the time is yet undecided.

    .02 Cents

Quag, I agree about the love of a man and woman being something fantastic and I believe it's even holy. But I also think 'single' love is great and holy, too

    But I digress. . .

    Movie time:

    7pm.
Place: Clearwater at the Crossing (Glendale doesn't have one!)

I gotta go give a lesson

I'm in. What time should we show up (since it's opening night)? Or is everyone getting tickets earlier that day?

    Thanks
    Tom

Hey, your Queenship, if you'd snag me one, the reward would be...well, more wealth than you can imagine (at least whatever they're charging for the thing, which is about equal!)

NQ- If you haven't gotten tickets yet, please grab one for me if you can. Now I just have to find the silly theatre! And since I really have no idea where I am going, I will probably try to be there around 630pm or so (to guarantee that I am on time and also to beat the friday night rush!) :) WooHoo!

Holly, you know where the Mongolian Grill is? It's right by there

I plan to be there, standing inside! by 6:30pm

Clearwater Crossing is the name of the particular stretch of strip mall.

It is between White River and Dean Road.

    There is a big sign.

It is between Keystone at the Crossing and Castleton. If you find yourself in either of those places, you are not at Clearwater.

Food landmarks: Don Pablo's, BD's Mongolian Grill, Lone Star, Chick-fil-a.

Dean Road is the street that leads to the theater, at the northern terminus.

Oh, for goshsakes, try Mapquest!!! :)

I shall try to be there by 6:30 p.m. as well. I have a tendency to get lost, but hopefully I'll allow time for that eventuality.

Gail-I am glad you can appreciate and man with a comic book, anime and toy collection. This bodes well for Pearce as he is likely to have all three because of me if nothing else. Speaking of Pearce, he has asked me to tell you "Happy Valentines Day and Smackdown!" (Just so you know Gail, Kim sent him a C-3PO Valentines Day card.)

Naboo Queen-Isn't another word for "single" love masturbation? ;)

    Enjoy the movie everybody!

Single love means never having to ask, "Are you there yet?"

I think you refer to 'self-love', which is not to be confused with 'love of self'.

mutual gratification only has one drawback--cold feet being planted on your legs!

Daredevil was great. I liked it better than Spiderman.

I too liked it better than "Spiderman," but I'm not sure if that's saying much given the full-blown mediocrity of the webslinger. There was the "Macho Man" Randy Savage, but that's about it.
I liked this movie for being darker, more like Batman. As expected, Colin Farrell was very entertaining. There's nothing like an entirely amoral sociopath. :)
