WHAT IS ON HER HEAD
Woo! I wonder if this is going to have anything to do with those aborted TCW ideas.
Apparently (?) it's based on one of the unmade TCW arcs.
Take all of you naysayers who said no more PT era content under Disney!
Or are they referring to actual movie/tv content?
Someone please tell me Vos will act more like his normal self and not his TCW self.
Wonder how she got her blades back, and I sure hope they don't make her evil again (in her last episode she avoided killing the clones, something about it being the new her).
Seriously? Do. Not. Want.
That lightsaber looks nothing like Ventress's - hers are very curved.
It's also yellow.
Maybe she made a new one, or took one from somebody else. Perhaps it's half of one of the double-ended yellow blades wielded by the Guard Jedi seen in TCW Season 5 The Wrong Jedi.
WAIT I MEAN SERIOUSLY WHAT.
I go away for a week for camp and come back to this. I has happiness.
If her tongue was out, I'd say that was Miley Cyrus in cosplay. Not the best cover. Still, points for actual artwork and not lazy photoshop, so I'm not going to hold the cover against it.
So this may read something like
Jaina Ventress finished off the remaining members of the Lost TribeStormtroopers, then she turned around and there he was.
She turned off her lightsaber and ran into Jagged's Quinlan Vos arms
Yeah, about that...
Ventress? With hair?
But I'm excited if she's going to appear again.
So many conflicting feelings about this. But I won't pretend I'm not intrigued--I've been following these characters for too long to give up now.
Go away more! JK
I could, but it looks like I'd be lying.
On the one hand, Quinlan Vos and Ventress woo! On the other hand... Christie Golden. Her previous novels ranged from fairly good to average IMO, but there was also the... incident with Ben and Vestara in Ascension and some other rather questionable portrayals of women. On the third mutant hand, this is based, I'm assuming, on the unproduced Clone Wars arc that revolved around these two. TCW was mostly good so long as the plot of the episode had nothing to do with Ashoka, and the quality of those arcs was increasing in the latter seasons. It will be interesting to see how Quinlan is portrayed, and how much of his past will be mentioned.
All in all, I'm going to be cautiously looking forward to this, I guess.
Quinlan Vos is canon again?
TCW used a character with that name and appearance, at least.
Really, Star Wars? Really? You open with Luceno's Tarkin and a Vader/Palpatine buddy cop novel, and this is what you follow it up with?
He was in TCW, thus still canon.
I am pumped for more Ventress. Her character development was one of the most outstanding aspects of TCW.
September and October can't come fast enough. We keep getting these great announcements, but we don't have the great content yet. I'm getting so desperate that I might pick up that Ezra and Zeb children's book. You know... for it's collectors value...
Obi-Wan's gonna have a serious word with Vos when this book is done.
