Windy, I want to apologize for any pain we've caused you in our campaign here earlier. We did not in any way mean to forget you or leave out your importance to usen. And we're glad the windiness is back in our lives.

 

So whats the deal here anyway, when is the non-soiled E2&3 board going to get its own administrator?

 

It's up to the existing admins to decide if we get our own.

 

I am going off to bribe all the current admins.....

Exactly. We do appreciate you being here, IronParrot. But like you said, we need someone who's job is specifically to watch over this forum. I'm starting to worry about coming here, even, with all the spoiler info going around. I would much rather an admin. be here to delete a spoiler as soon as they see it, rather than one of us stumble upon it in the title of a thread & have to contact an admin. to delete it.

Dark Lady Mara has my vote, after all, she was the first to welcome me to the light-side.

However, if she does become an admin. I would feel sorry for her. Her job would be to delete SPOILERS. But to determine if something contains spoilers, one must first read the post. So if she was offered the duty she would have to choose between the dark-side or the light. If she does become an admin. she will probably be spoiled before EP2 comes out. Now Dark Lady Mara, if you were to chosen as the admin. of this forum, would you take it?

 

Deleting spoilers isn't dark side because you're doing it for a greater good. That was a pretty good justification, wasn't it?

 

I wouldn't want that job, and I doubt Mara would judging from her stong anti-spoiler stance. Windy or Mara would make good administrators, but I think we're doing fine right now. If any of us sees a spoiler just contact a current administrator. It hasn't become a problem yet, and hopefully it won't.

 

It's not a problem yet. But in the future it will be. Do you remember what this board looked like shortly before the release of TPM?

Oh, the sacrifices I would make to protect this board from evil...

 

That is a heck of a sacrifice. Just think of what it might do to you E2 experience!

 

If my devotion to staying unspoiled continues or even grows, I may give up these boards completely in the months before Episode II's release, just to avoid the trolls who will be posting threads like "Qui-Gon Dies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!", etc...

 

In all seriousness now, Dark Lady Mara would be a good administrator, but I don't think that we would need one. Once episode II comes around the admins will be more "into" the film and hang around here more. It's only natural.

I might be with you hew. It all depends.

 

If the spoilers REALLY start piling in en masse and overwhelm me, I'll have to leave the spoiler forum as well (assuming I have the willpower to)... which means I'll either resign, or maybe just become this non-spoiled forum's resident admin... but I don't forsee something like that happening for at least another year.
