I downloaded "Dark Skies" and it is not working in my DVD player. What is the best way to change the region code on the .iso?

    Thanks again!

I suspect the problem is due to the Dark Skies DVD being in [link=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pal]PAL[/link] format instead of [link=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ntsc]NTSC[/link]. This is different from [link=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD_region_code]DVD region codes[/link], which you would only find on commercial DVDs. Unfortunately, getting a typical NTSC DVD player to play PAL DVDs is not going to happen. It's a different encoding system and frame rate. You might be able to play it using a computer DVD drive.

I seem to remember there was some attempt to make an NTSC version of the Dark Skies DVD, but I don't think kuatengineer or I ever got around to it. You can Google "PAL to NTSC DVD conversion" if you want to do it yourself.

Wow, my bad! I actually did get it converted into NTSC (the link that is there is the original PAL version), and didn't get it added to the site. Here is the link to download it:

    Sorry about that.....
