"Dark Skies" .iso region code

I downloaded "Dark Skies" and it is not working in my DVD player. What is the best way to change the region code on the .iso?

I suspect the problem is due to the Dark Skies DVD being in PAL format instead of NTSC. This is different from DVD region codes, which you would only find on commercial DVDs. Unfortunately, getting a typical NTSC DVD player to play PAL DVDs is not going to happen. It's a different encoding system and frame rate. You might be able to play it using a computer DVD drive.

I seem to remember there was some attempt to make an NTSC version of the Dark Skies DVD, but I don't think kuatengineer or I ever got around to it. You can Google "PAL to NTSC DVD conversion" if you want to do it yourself.

 

I think I'm just going to get a new DVD player.
