Beyond - Legends Darkness of the Sith

The ashen skies of Coruscant burned as fighting and rebellion tore the New Republic apart. Senators were assassinated as the citizens took arms. The Jedi were being hunted by the Chancellor's elite bodygaurds.

The Sith Lord stared blankly out the window at the destruction. The grand senate chamber burned in the distance as his apprentice destroyed the corrupt senators and the Jedi. He saw this many years ago with the rise of Palpatine. He had been a fool though to not strike Yoda down when he had the chance.

"The Sith's corruption of the Republic stops here!"

"Ah, Master Skywalker you haven't learned anything. You will die trying to defeat me."

"Much to say about that I do."

"Yoru the old weakling!"

"Your treachery will end!" Luke grasped his now egnited lightsaber with the green Yoru near him.

"I don't mask anything, it's you!" He put his hand on his belt then pulled out a black plated lightsaber and activated it. He charged Skywalker then stabbed Yoru in the chest.

He kicked Yoru against the wall of his lair then grabbed Skywalker by his neck and began to choke him.
"
You fool! You soon will die!"

He then kicked him and began to shoot lightning at Luke.

Luke deflects it easily.

Great fic but I'm having lots of trouble reading it because of the paragraphing.

 

"Your overconfidence will destroy you!" Luke shouted as the deflected lightning broke the large glass window overlooking Coruscant's cities.

The Sith Lord circled Luke then lunged pushing Skywalker on his knees then he landed a hit on Skywalker's electronic hand. The metal severed and he let out a scream.

"Your becoming more like your father every moment."

"I'll never join you!"

"Sad, that you will die!"

Luke scrambles to roll but Darth Urasan blocked his way with his lightsaber.

"Your time is over Jedi!"

Urasan lifted his saber then cut the Jedi master in two but he disappeared. "Strange," Urasan muttered.

The battle raged all throughout Coruscant and the galaxy against the Jedi and their allies. He walked over to a holoprojector to send a message to his commander of his army of clones General Kryic. "General, this has grown behond the Republic's saftey, they staged an assault on my wife. If it wasn't for my guards master Skywalker and Yoru would have killed me. We must work quickly if we want to insure saftey of are citizens of the senators who have not been killed by the rebels. It is urgent to hold an immediate session of the senate to address the conflict."

"As you wish, I'll send four platoons of troops to guard the senate from any intruders."

Quickly he shut the projector off then went to his shuttle to got to the senate.

"The Jedi attacked me the rebels are attacking the innocent senators of the senate. War draws near, that is why I created the new clone army."

The senator from Kuat stood up and began to speak:"The only good of the army has been the stability of this capital, with the Jedi now against us I propose a strike against the temple!"

"My friends you have seen the dark side before, we are becoming it!"said the senator from Naboo. "I object! They tried to kill the leader who has held the Republic together! The Jedi are now turned against us, I see forhand the destruction they have caused. My office is burning right now!!! If you think they are not evil for killing our protectors the Coruscant police and killing some of my advisors and innocent civillains you are mistaken!"

"It is a declaration of war to attack the Jedi!" yelled the senator from Naboo again. "It's obvious you don't know what you have been told by your mentors!"

"Sir the Jedi are attacking in the Mid Rim, holding whole worlds, we must do something!" screamed the chancellor's advisor.

"We must act if we are to save the Republic! All in favor of the authorized war against the Jedi," said the senator from Onderon. A thunderous applause went thoughout the even though fires still raged in the deep bowels of the building set by the chancellor's apprentice.

"It is settled then, we will attack the Jedi, and cripple their organization!" Several senators from Naboo swiftly walked out of their boxes as the chancellor continued to talk. As soon as they reached the lobby of the senate building a huge explosian rocked the grand chambers. Smoke and fire climbed the boxes as senators scrambled for their lives.

"Chancellor we'll escort you to your ship," yelled a royal guard.

"Commander began your assault on the Jedi Temple."

"Yes chancellor."

Darth Urasan stood in his office watching the senate being engulfed in fire now. The short session had achieved it's purpose to turn the New Republic on the Jedi. He then turned his attention to the Jedi Temple the rebels and clone troopers secretly worked together thousands of troops assaulted the Temple as it was set on fire.

Soon several fighter squadrons came in for a strafing run on the temple's main tower which housed the Jedi Council. The bombardment level the tower as it fell. In the night he could now see Star Destroyers beginning to bombard the other towers.

Suddenly

 

The great army of the New Republic marched around Coruscant as Weri Guro made her behind the thousands of clone troopers patroling the destroyed Jedi Temple. She had survived the assault by escaping dressed as a diplomat. She made her way to an air speeder stop and one soon came. She had to Jacen before he was killed to get off the planet with him, Jaina, Tahiri, Leia, Han Solo, Ben Skywalker, and Mara Skywalker and the two droids. She could see the Falcon docked ready for takeoff with Han's new wookie friend Tarrful, an old friend of Chewbacca from Kashyyyk. The driver of the air speeder set down then asked for no money but peace since he knew she was really a Jedi. She nodded.

"Well if all goes well we'll be able to sneak off this planet before..."
Han stopped.

Fourty clone troopers and and three Dark Jedi walked up to the Falcon then started attacking. "Get on board." The clones were setting up an E-Web canon but they failed when a laser from the Falcon blew it apart. Soon with everybody on board Han flew the Falcon out of the port but knew there would be company in space. Switch power to all deflector shields and prepare to outrun these Imperials. Any gunner would love to take this ship down.

Meanwhile on the bridge of a new Star Destroyer in space Captain Praic told his gunners through comlinks. "The Millenium Falcon is escaping the planet try to damage it but not kill it. Make it seem like we didn't know it was coming and aren't going to follow it."

"This will be revenge on the Empire for the wookies," Han said as he dove the Falcon in a dive underneath two star destroyers letting out cluster bombs which split them in half.

"What ever you do be careful!" Mara said.

"Aren't I always?" Han replied.

The Falcon shot into space as Praic laughed. "This is where they are mistaken!" Praic laughter was halted by a presense behind him. The dark figure cloaked in black walked towards the end of the bridge then stared into space. He then turned and walked to the hanger bay. He got in his Sith Myruid class assault craft then lifted into space.

The Falcon was located going to Anision in hyperspace. He punched a few buttons then shot to Anison in a mere hour. When he arrived he set the blockade up of Trade Guild of Balmorra capital ships and awaited the helpless Falcon. A Duro approached him then asked: "My lord, the resistance on Anision in blocking our troops."

"Then wipe them out!" The figure turned to the bridge. The freighter approached along with a huge armada of ships. "So this was the plan, how futile the Republic is to gain the galaxy back. Commander I want twenty star fighter squadron to engage these rebels." The figure turned then saw his commander on the floor.

"Your rule is over Sith!"

"Your fools Jedi." Darth Horecianant took out his lightsaber then forced the three Jedi back. He kicked the padawan then stabbed him and threw him against the wall.

"You stand for hate!"

"You seek to kill!" Horecianant grappled his lightsaber in a feint then kicked the other Jedi against the wall. The Jedi Master was tiring so Horecianat slowed down then reversed his blade after a parrie and killed the Jedi Master.

The knight was right behind but was futile. "This is your defeat. Become my apprentice and we can detroy all you hate!"

"Never!!!"

The Jedi limped to engage Horecianant with more strength. He pushed back to the doorway in a fast Ataru style. He forced the Sith Lord to the ground and prepared to kill him when he blocked it. Horecianant kicked the Jedi's face with his foot and sent him against the wall again. The Jedi got up then went into a rage pushing Horecianant back. Horecianant smiled then let him continue forcing him back into the engine room of the ship. He blocked the Jedi blows then tried to force push him below the catwalk the Jedi backed up then went charging and forced him to the end of the catwalk.

An explosion gripped the chamber with Horecianant on

 

Meditation.

Horecianant was meditating on the bridge using the power of the dark side to influence the battle outside in space. His forces were boarding many Republic ships and the Falcon was getting chased. The tide had turned against the Republic when the reinforcements arrived. "Fools!"

The battle progressed and soon the Republic began to retreat when more capital ships showed up. Several thousand droid star fighters swarmed the New Republic ships. The massacre reminded him of Darth Revan's victory at the Star Forge. Several larger ships began to blow up several huge New Republic capital ships.

The gas from the biggest cruiser spilled all over the gun deck. When the gun deck exploded the whole ship split in half. The ship smashed against another ship's bridge destroying it. A resulting shock wave wipped out the majority of New Republic ships. "Commander I want you to pursue the Falcon. Destroy it!"

"Yes, my lord!"

He moved then to tell the human controlled fighters to hunt it. They shot at the communications unit destroying it. The wounded Falcon raced towards the capital ship his Admiral was on. "Prepare my shuttle!"

Han crashed the Falcon in the huge old Trade Federation battleship hanger. He quickly told Mara to ready the blaster turret. She blasted the incoming battle droids then took two shots at the MAT (Modified Attack Transport) Han fired a hole in the battleships's hanger to the ship transporter tunnels. Then fired two torpedoes at the wall then speed through the tunnels to the center of the core ship. He spun until he reached the reactor core. As fired two more torpedoes still chased by fighters then went through another tunnel into space the battleship imploded.

Han smiled.

 

"Let's go back where it's safe."

Han shot into hyperspace for the planet.
Strange Zerok Prime was. It was dark in the force, the Jedi hide in it. As Han landed Tahiri rushed into Anakin's arms they kissed but it was short.

"Luke's been killed."

"Their were rumors you had been too. My heart almost broke. Don't leave my sight my love, the galaxy is a dangerous place, and I never will lose you!"

"Don't say that Anakin, these are dark times."

"I won't fall, like your comrades did against the Sith. I hate them! I hate the murderers. If the Republic has fallen, to this, I must do something!" Anakin said outloud as several loyal soldiers to the Jedi looked in shock. "I am leaving, I must defeat the Sith Lord!"

"Please stay here where it is safe!" A tear drop trickled down here check. Anakin hugged her in a warm embrace. "I want to come with you, to protect you!" she said.

"It's not safe. I won't lose you, stay here."

"No I'm coming with you!" she sighed now with tons of tears coming out of her eyes.

"Don't make me cry," his eyes started to water then he cried too. He moved closer to here then they kissed again.

"I'll never leave you! Ani, I am just afraid I will lose you."

"I'll never leave you either, but I have to save the galaxy, from evil."

"I must accompany you."

"Since my childhood, I have loved for you, cared for you, I see I cannot be seperated from you. I wish we will never leave each other, will you marry me?"

"I do!"

The wedding was quick and short in the little base. It was done in secret too. Only See-Threepio and Artoo were theri with the priest and Mara.

But darknessed stirred nearby. Darth Horecianant planted the charges against the base then lifted his arm. Darth Urasan. "This will be the end of the Jedi, destroy them!"

"Yes, my master, the Sith will destroy them."

Darth Horecianant sliced open a door to the base then saw five soldiers looking at him guns planted on him. "Don't move dark jedi!"

Horecianant smiled. The battle meditation was helping. The voices whispered to him. Savassa se sa...

He took out his lightsaber then jump against the ceiling landing behind three soldiers dived then killed them.

Anakin feel to the ground he heard a tremor. It was through the force. It was literally the ground shaking. "I don't know what's happening!"

"This is a Sith planet, you know?"

"That can't cause an earthquake!"

"OH NO!"

"What?"

"The Sith are here."

"AHHHHHHHAAHHH!!! I must confront him!!!" Anakin said in a blind rage.

"Don't do this to me!"

"Stay here while I go confront the menace!"

 

"You will stop here menace!"

Darth Horecianant walked over to Anakin and egnited two blades of red light. He charged pushing Anakin almost too easily into a bunch of crates in the small hallway. He sliced a box open then jump over Anakin's head as he spun trying to attack at the same time. Horecianant saber locked with him as his dark robes came to a stop. Anakin's hair glowed in the dim light of the glow panel's then sneered. He used his anger to force Horecianant to the ground but he lashed back out by kicking him in the chest then seared a piece of his brown fabric off.

They locked blades again then Anakin charged.
