darth maul in the TV series?

i heard that one of the series will be about somethink of the dark side, possibly of the missions of darth maul, like in that comic or book (i dont remember).

what you think?

I think a show set between III and IV is a bad idea. I heard something about a story of yoda as a padawaan but i'm not sure

 

Why won't people just accept it wil take place inbetween ROTS and ANH?

 

Maul is dead in the PAST before AOTC! There's no way he could be in the Series!

 

I think it would be cool and I also think that making it between the movies would because they would be limited as to what they could do as it would have to tally up with the movies.

There's really not that much to tell so far as Maul is concerned is there? At least, not once he 'graduated' so to speak. He went after Black Sun, then Lorn Pavan and that led right into TPM where he went out like a punk The only other avenue would be to cover his training, but I get the impression he wasn't sent out on to many 'real' missions before he completed it.

That being said, I'd like to see a Maul story done in CW style. Still...

Yeah, at C3 I think. The animated one will be a continuation of Clone Wars, and the live-action will be in between 3&4.

Obviously this is just to start off with. A lot of people round here seem to be forgetting that there will be other series' made forther down the line, no doubt covering different parts of the timeline. But we'll have to wait and see for those

n00b??!!!? Not really but whatever. Anyways, the SW Visionaries story is the perfect way to have Maul in the TV show PERIOD. They could use it for sweeps week or something. Maul lives!!!!! ONLY for REVENGE against Obi-won, always.

 

A few points:

1. Maul is dead, Obi Wan (note the correct spelling) killed him in TPM.

2. GL has stated the new TV series will take place between Episodes III and IV.

Therefore Maul will NOT be in the new tv series.

 

My bad on the spelling. I was typing fast. The SW Visionaries story takes place between Ep3 and 4. Its 3 years after ROTS to be exact. Darth Maul lives!!!!

This is fun. I won't stop. GL has stated what ever doesn't go against the films is canon. So stop with the put downs of the EU. Only the EU before the PT is messed up. And Darth Maul seems to have gotten a lower torso replacement which matches up with him getting cut in half by Obi-wan. Heh!!!

Well this does go against the films!!!

He gets cut in half and falls down a huge shaft, he is dead. Even the emperor doesn't survive a similar fall.

You can have your opinion, but i GUARANTEE he won't be in the tv series, oh and you can hold me to that btw.
