Full Series Darth Maul Returns DVD (And other arcs you want to see in this format)

Is anyone else planning on picking this up? I'm interested in seeing the four episodes edited together into a movie with extra scenes. Maybe we'll get the scene with Nightsisters fighting battle droids with lightsabers that was rumored before Season 4 aired...

Also, are there any other arcs that you all feel should be released like this? For me, the Mortis trilogy is a must. Yeah, the writing was pretty atrocious after Overlords, but it's pretty important in the grand scheme of the Saga. A close second would be the Umbara arc. Edited together, that would make a fantastic standalone movie release.

I just went from not caring at all to being really psyched about this.

I honestly might prefer this route. If they eventually put all the Mandalorians Episodes on one DVD.........

Maybe I need to think about this a bit more.

 

Even if I did want this, I would want it on Blu-ray.

 

Actually part of the reason I'm psyched about this is I can't afford a Blu-ray player so I've been getting robbed of all the extra scenes on the S3 and S4 DVD sets.

 

If this was being released on Blu-Ray, I'd be interested. As it stands, I'd rather wait for the complete Season 4 whenever it's released. Still, glad they're doing this. Maybe they should do the same with Young Jedi if they can't find a place for it in the show.

The Citadel arc deserves to be put in a nice box like this and sold at Target and other places.

 

I'd most want to Umbara and the Rako Hardeen arc edited into movies. I'm not certain if I'll pick this up. I don't really care about seeing extended scenes from the Darth Maul arc and it'll be redundant in my collection when the S4 Blu-ray is released.

I'd rather have the Blu-Ray seasons. Speaking of the complete seasons, I hope the extra scenes will be included with the season 4 set.

Though im not going to buy this, i do hope that someone uploads it to youtube or something. I would like to see the new scenes in this version.

 

Darth Maul is the Forrest Gump of Star Wars, Magik legs.

 

I just popped over to Target to buy this (insert LACWAC mocking here). Not bad for $9.99 and i'm looking at it more as a collector's piece, but I want to see.... has anyone watched and spotted the differences in the director's cut? I'm debating opening or keeping sealed (insert insane collector mocking here).

 

Walmart didn't have it, said it wasn't coming out until Oct 23rd.
I thought I read the other day that the DVD and Blu-ray had separate releases...
