PT Darth Maul says "At last we will have revenge" but what revenge is he talking about?

    In the TPM on Coruscant, Darth Maul says to Darth Sidious "At last we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi. At last we will have revenge." but what revenge is Darth Maul talking about as it wasn't explained further on in the movie.
