Wow, these are great! You got the motions and even the facial expressions (what could be seen on you, anyway)down nicely. Well done!

 

Rokker, your costume looks as good as ever! Did you do any improvements to it from last year?

a few improvements, mostly small...

i wear an Ale Asylum baseball hat under the hood of the cloak.. it helps me to see and creates more shadow on the face. there is also a cardboardy type iron on in the hood to give it a little more stiffness and a piece of velcro for outside use to hold the hood to the hat in case of wind.

i also changed belts and got rid of the "obi" type belt i had.

i also got rid of some leather body armour that shifted around too much and replaced with some "shoulder padding".

and, i bought a new saber from saberforge, the dark relic... a Luxeon blade, more consistent for our dueling performances.

i plan to get real leather guantlets, just haven't found the right ones, to replace the halloween express Darth Vader plether guantlets, and i will have my tabbards made of real leather....

Ahh, the magic of velcro.... That was a great idea to keep the wind from blowing everything apart.
