Shortened your quotation a bit (since we don't need the OP repeated in its entirety), but totally agree with the sentiment. ;):D

On the world where I was born
Lived a man who sailed the heat
And he told us of his life
    On a lava submarine

So we sailed on magma flows
Til we wore a sweaty sheen
And we lived beneath the glow
    In our lava submarine

Volcanoes, warmongers, snazzy lava-ships, a queen and our favorite Darth. This will be one hell of an issue.

Is this arc four parts long? Or six?

Four. It ends in Darth Vader #19.
Darth Vader #20 is going to be the beginning of the new story arc "End of Games".

Glad that we're starting to have different arc lengths in now we just need the main star wars series to do the same :)

As far as I know, the current Rebel Jail arc from the main Star Wars series will also just have four issues. Star Wars #20 will then be another Obi-Wan story.

Random observation: Rubix's throne is clearly based on this throne in the Royal Palace of Madrid:

But with alien beast things instead of lions that were originally intended to be table legs. (Unless they're alien beast things that were originally intended to be table legs, which changes everything.)

This isn't the first time Marvel artists have used Spanish royalty for reference, a practice not without controversy.

In the case of Magneto's House of M uniform, it's even worse than using a picture for reference: with the exception of the face, which is entirely new, the whole picture is obviously traced. Even the fingernails and spots on the hands are identical!

"For its part, Koch says it’s not explicitly stated that the uniform is based on Juan Carlos." LOL, as they say.

You know better than to trust Marvel's dates Spicer! [face_shame_on_you]

    Fortunately, it is Diamond's list.

Now back to the preview - really like the first and last pages particularly. A lava-sub is a great idea.

Pretty decent issue. The art is consistent and looks good as always.

So the Ore Barons attack their own Queen at her "Camp David" with their mighty ship The Lava Leviathan and Vader easily dispatches it with the twins. He recommends that a further example must be made to put the barons in line as they are not getting it. The Queen "orders" another imperial lesson on another delving-citadel.

Personally, if Vader destroys all the delving-citadels, I wonder what use the planet will be to the Empire if they can't produce the ore that it needs.

Cylo is butt-hurt concerning Vader showing him no respect and feels that he owes him for something. He speak with Tagge via hologram who tells him that the Empire should appear to be the victor of the war on Shu-Torun, not Vader. So at the end of the comic when the Ore Barons are discussing how to defeat Vader, they consult an "expert" who happens to be Cylo, who appears via hologram. He can't promise that they win the war, but he says that he can deliver Vader to them.

Personally, we already had Greivbar (aka Karbin) betray Vader now Cylo is going to as well? I wish they could have come up with something else that didn't feel repeated and less obvious. Maybe I'm wrong and Cylo is simply playing the Barons.

That's the crux of the story/plot. My two favorite parts were the (1) Aphra misdirection with the bones brought to Vader by the bounty hunter Beebox (RIP). I guess he wasn't part of the prison events in the SW comic or was he? And (2) the female twin asking to be trained and Vader pretty much telling her that she is useless.
