It‘s amazing with a very dark ending. [face_plain]

Poor Laurita, he was becoming a fracking bastard, but he didn't deserve this. Nobody will ever surpass Vader's badassery. ''never suffer rivals'':D

Whoa. The ending was just... whoa. I expected a darker twist that came near the end, but...

This. Is. DARTH. FRACKING. VADER. Series. And not anything else.

Easily the best SW comic of the year and one of the best ones ever. Also, the second best EU work of the year. And let me tell you, Magister Hego Damask, it came very, very close.

So I guess there are days when Hayden CAN write Vader...

Granted, I actually really enjoyed the first TFU, but still.

All in all, I think this arc was immensely superior to the Last Command. The ending was just... immensely cool and so very dark. Vader has been redeemed! :D

I've said it before, I'll say it again: if this was Blackman's apology for the sin that was TFU, then the boy did good.

The Dark Lord would surely approve. [IMG]

I have to admit that I was a little disappointed with the ending. We had so many potential story lines that could have been explored, yet they were eliminated before they could have been brought to light.

That was awesome. Not the ending I predicted, but excellent and appropriate given the setting and who we're dealing with.

I completely forgot about the Emperor... I was lost in the sea of Vader's badassery. And then HIMs stepped forward. Ashes.

Liked everything but the end. Seemed very petty and rather unlike him, actually. He's not that insecure.

Great set-up for Trachta's treachery though.

Good issue, though not quite as good as #2, which was adorable.

WHAT? How could you! His Imperial Majesty lies ill! I could scarcely think of aught else these past few weeks!

He made a triumphant return. My only regret was that he never had the chance to hug Lord Vader. So very sad. He must have been in too much pain. :(

    Yes.... yes.

I spent a good 20 minutes getting that smiley working and Dave hasn't uploaded it yet. The nerve!

I like this one- [IMG] better. Fits more with the aesthetics of the existing smilies.

Coop - No. Just that we're working on getting the rest of the YIM smilies, including the lost SW ones. If you'll notice the smilie box, there are a few new ones that weren't there yesterday.

Todd - We're only using YIM ones. That Palpatine one is made by the same people who made our original smilies. You can tell by the art style.

I'd agree if we were talking about Vader five years down the line... but I think it can be excused given the current timeframe.

Am I the only one wondering how
    Show Spoiler
this "Emperor is dead" news spread across the galaxy and affected it..the rebellion etc.? and how the successorship of his Imperial Majesty was quickly resolved.. instead of what we got post-Endor?

paralells? differences to post-Endor? any indication on procedures? Tarkin came to take command.. but rightfully or not?

I doubt they told the public about it
