This appears at the end of the latest issue of Purge. I'm assuming it's another Blackman 5-parter. Certainly an interesting looking creature on the cover.

It's a good job the recent Darth Vader series have been better...

As the title just makes me want to roll my eyes. :p

Title sounds a bit ridiculous. WIsh we could get someone other than Vader, now that he has had so many miniseries, hopefully it's more like Ghost Prison rather than Lost Command.

AWESOME!!! If it weren't for the horns the dude in the picture would resemble a Kaleesh a fair bit.

I hear you guys on the Vader part tho -- it's getting monotonous.[face_tired]

What happened to the first eight assassins?

Hopefully it's like Ghost Prison, in that the comics quality is equal to the titles campiness.

Of course, it sounds somewhat less ridiculous on a second glance... I originally thought it said "Darth Vader and the Ninja Assassin" [face_laugh]

Guys, we've been here before. o_O

And speaking of been here before, isn't there some weird dragon-looking Imperial bad guy in Marvel SW? Could that be this guy's species?

Retconed as Kaleesh or did you mean the most heroic minion of the Emperor ever, his greatness the Suprema Ampotem Za, who enslaved just about every Mando warrior in the galaxy in a few months? :p

I look forward to Darth Vader and the Seven Dwarves.

You know that it's a serious possibility now.

Well, I've been trying for the better part of an hour now to come up with some excuse for speculating how this might tie up the loose ends from TFU2... but, nope.
    Ah well...

Might just be me but I have no problem with the title :p Its got that ominous sounding quality like "Indianna Jones and the Temple of Doom!" type of flair to it which sounds fun.

The other 8 assassins are Galen Marek clones and..... yeah, I got nothing. Just gonna make it worse.

I think you are forgetting about the Kage from the Clone Wars, the Clone Assassins from the episode 3 game, and, of course, gun using velociraptor ninjas. And I have probably forgotten more than that - there are like six or seven kinds of vampires in Star Wars for crying out loud.

He looks a bit like that Imperial Kaleesh General who appeared in the Marvel series.

That's how the first page should read!

8 panels, each one of Vader killing an assassin!

Assassins have this little trick... sort of a way of cheatin' death. Only... it means they're gonna change.

    Alternatively: Templars.

Wait, is that figure on the cover a feline-type lifeform possessing 9 lives? Guess who took the other 8?
