This look s like a serious possibility now.
I really hope the dude on the cover is the ninth assassin and not the employer and chooses to hire Boba Fett as the ninth.
Can he still be a ninja?
I'm still upset the title wasn't Ninja Assassin...
You people spoiled my enjoyment by pointing out where I'd misread it!
Ok, I guess I have to hand $5 to Jedi Ben for totally calling it.
Judging by the crowd assembled in front of him?
Don't get your hopes up.
Somehow that guy doesn't look like assassin to me. Unless his plan is to play some Outer Rim lord and get into Vader's inner circle. But not until it's too late does he realize that those in the inner circle have to endure Vader's drunken self-pity-speeches of beautiful senators and life as a slave...
One step further: He should be a raptor ninja assassin! BZZANGKG!
For all his money, Old Dude is apparently attached to that single outfit.
Ah you got to love these Vader comics, it gives as more diverse looking militia and proto Rebel troopers than the rest of the EU combined.
Whoa, nelly. He didn't get rich by spending all his credits on frivolous nonsense! A good outfit is one you can wear every day forever.
Sorry for calling you nelly.
That's something Han Solo knows very well.
Wow....they really went out of their way to show what a **** this guy is.
And I must say, I am surprised at how sane and reasonable Vader and the Empire looks here.
Let’s wait for the whole story before we praise the Empire.
Very nice page here from that preview, neat sense of motion:
I'm pretty sure that's not how things are done here
Listen, I've got banners and streamers stockpiled on one side of my desk and a mountain of rotten tomatoes on the other. I gotta chose a side -- "Apathy is death" you know. And you're telling me to wait?
The Empire always looks sane and reasonable when not viewed through the lens of Mothmatist propaganda
what is the big distinction between Darth Vader and the "...." series and Purge?
Purge is about stamping out the Jedi. While it's always been about Vader, thusfar, it could conceivably focus on another Imperial character. (An Inquisitor, for instance)
"Darth Vader and the" is about Darth Vader doing other stuff.
Like stamping out other Jedi.
This is getting out of hand, now there are two of them!
Them in this case being Grand Admiral Imperial Propagandists.
So, theoretically different, but practically the same.
In Purge he fights Jedi survivors in the Darth Vader ones he tends to battle against other Imperials or Proto Rebels.
Wait, wasn't the empire supposed to be anti aliens and pro humans??
Yep, that’s why I want to wait for the whole story, before we “praise” the Empire
