I wonder who the adversary is going to be. A lot of options... Padmé's father? Mas Amedda? Coleman Kcaj? They said his son was murdered, so that probably eliminates the characters I came up with. By the way, is the 'adversary' the assassin or his boss?
After thinking about it, I want every "Darth Maul lives... and dies" story to be canon. He fights Obi-Wan, dies, lives ten years as a Shelob, rules Mandalore, something something, dies, survives, fights Obi-Wan on Tatooine, dies, survives, fights Vader, dies... survives?! I'd like it to be that ancient [not-sure-if-he-was] Sith wizard dude who was mentioned in a single WEG book or Gamer article or something. Alas, I forget his name, and it obviously will have nothing to do with him, but I've always been interested in that guy.
That was the 9th Assassin. This is the 9th Assassin Mark II. Wasn't he a Prophet of the Dark Side before serving the Emperor, though? If so, we know where he originally came from.
