Wash, DC Darth Vader around the World

OK gang,

The boston Rebels want to Take their picture with a 12" Darth Vader. then send the Vader to every FF with a camera and have each FF take thier pic with Vader in front a monument in thier city.

Does this sound like something we are willing to be part of. let me kno by monday. If so, on monday I will send him my address for this and I will keep you all updated on if it's going to happen

Hahahaha! That's sounds like a funny idea! Just don't take the picture at October's meeting because I won't be there...

The Capitol is an obvious choice since we are the GS. The Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial would also be good choices. The White House probably wouldn't be too good because of the fence blocking the way.

 

it will probally be a couple of months before we get it. boston is sending it to NY first. then they send it to thier closet city and so forth.

 

Ah good. The picture probably wouldn't be the same as a meeting day anyway since we generally don't meet at monuments downtown. This is a funny idea though, I love it. Are they going to put all the pictures up on a website or something?

 

We are still discussing that in the city rep forum. We are also talking about each Chapter put something city unique on the back of the box to show where it's been. It will also be going overseas after it finishes the states.

You all do realize that we will have to pay to send it to the next chapter. if everyone donates a few buck it won't be bad

Excellent! Count me in. Pity we have so many great monuments to choose from. Now we just need to milk any contacts we have to get a great picture in the Oval Office or on the floor of the Senate.... Ok, a bit ambitious, but it could happen...

That's probably true... It will take each FF a while to get all their people together for the picture...
