You're probably right. It may even refer to Jedi Palpatine wants Vader to train as future inquisitors for all we know.

 

Again, where is it specifically mentioned that the Jedi in issue #7 will be a different Jedi than Jocasta Nu?

I believe Jocasta is considered one of the most dangerous Jedi alive by the Empire not because of her fighting prowess, but because of her knowledge of Jedi teachings and secrets.

If there's anyone who has the knowledge to re-establish the Jedi Order on some remote planet in secret, its her.

The other Jedi that are with her are in my opinion Padawans she saved during Order 66 and now she's probably trying to hide with them and finish their training.

I also wouldn't be surprised if some of these Padawans will end up being future Inquisitors (Seventh Sister?) after either Vader or GI kills Jocasta.

I'm also looking forward to GI's backstory. When and why he turned to the Dark Side? Is he the only one or did many Jedi turn to the Dark Side to save their lives?

Charles Soule: I think the definition of “living” needs to be a little loose here. We’re still talking about a crystal, after all. It’s a piece of stone, not a sentient being. I view it as more of a feedback loop, if anything. The only mind there with any sense of will was Vader itself — if that helps give you a little clarity on what I was suggesting with that scene.

I'm being facetious.....guess that wasn't obvious. I'm poking fun at the fact that Jocasta's only fight scene in canon was getting knocked out cold by a bounty hunter. And, in my previous post at the fact that Council Masters seem to have horrible luck against said criminal scum. See Coleman Trebor. It's all in good satire.

Well he still clearly had the tattoos in the vision Yoda gave to Kanan. So it seems likely to me that they could just be cultural to him. He just filled them in darker when he turned to the darkside.

 

It's hard to be sure of anything in the TCW Utapau arc because of its unfinished nature, but Tion Medon in ROTS definitely has similar eye markings. It's a cultural thing, not a darksider thing.

 

Looking forward to Jocasta like you wouldn't believe. Always liked the idea of the Jedi Librarians. She was on the Jedi Council herself once too, so one imagines she's full of wisdom. Hopefully she gives Vader a run for his money.
