Darth Vader, is the Dark Lord of the Sith, he is also one of the best villans of all time. He is surely my favorite character. of the whole saga.

Darth Vader is coming 2005!

Sorry if this thread has been formed already, I have not found the oringal thread to this... So I was hoping we could start fresh... if that has already been thought of, well then I'll look harder for the thread again.

Please post all Vader information here... and maybe bring alittle PT Vader into this as well, so you can bring some of that in here. Post pictures, etc etc on this too.

So post whatever you want about Vader on this thread.

you normally don't see appreciation threards for guys like dv i have to be honest, when i saw this on board i gave a short laugh and then clicked on the link, hoping it was a joke or something

I guess I'll have to report in as the mad DV fan-girl that I am.

I'll gladly spend hours polishing our Lord's helmet or giving him a nice massage after one of those hard days if looking menacing and choking people.

Darth Vader is my hero. He is the wind beneath my wings.

 

Count me in for sure. I was in love w/big bad DV when I was 15. Still am, sorta, "more machine now than man" notwithstanding. There is no villain cooler, more elegant, more original. Dooku comes close, but he's too old for me.

Now that I have seen Anakin as a young man, my appreciation of Vader has increased. I love it that he was once an angsty, hormone-ridden, and issue-laden youth. It's what I hoped George would do, and it's enormously gratifying. Although his fall is going to be horribly tragic, it will be fascinating to watch. I hope he becomes Vader before the suit, so I can see him all decked out in Sith robes. He would look hotter than the lava he's supposed to fall into.

If gender matters...I have 2 x chromosomes, if you couldn't already guess that by my screen name (which originated back in 77 when I wrote a long lost fanfic about a force-sensitive Jedi daughter who ran afoul of the Alliance while spying on them and had to be placed under Vader's protection.)

Two early and vivid memories of Darth Vader:

1. I was soooo mad he got away in ANH. I remember saying after the show "No, he was the bad guy! He should have died!" I was 4 years old at the time

2. Watching Vader look back and forth from Luke to the Emperor during the amazing climax of ROJ. I was thinking "Come on Vader, you're Luke's only hope!! DO SOMETHING!!" Then when he did, cheers reverberated throughout the sold-out theater. I was 10 years old.

I'll never forget those moments, as long as I live. That is Darth Vader's impact on me.

 

i am a vader fan, but i'm looking foreward more to anakin in episode iii (before the suit) and he kills a lot of jedi, and becomes a real bad@$$

 

I love Vader so much, i've gone through 3 vintage Vader figures. The first 2 lost their heads. They're my Dagobah cave Vaders.
