any word on a possible machined detail piece like in the picture..the one below the emitter shroud? with the six dots and the two boxes etched into it? the tricky part of that would be making it on a slightly curved piece so it would fit on a round pipe

I was thinking about doing that peice. at the moment i've been really busy and my dad is really really busy with things at his job. i'm trying to take things one step at a time. I asked my dad if we could make some more of those other peices to fit your saber and he said that sounded good so hopefully we can get those made soon. I'm not going to run out on ya it's just been real busy like I said before.

    take care,

Keep going with the milling and CNC work. The cardboard and legos are an eyesore, but the switch plate is divine.=D=

I used sanded wood for the on/off switch and the front block piece and it looks pretty good with chrome paint...would be a better choice than the legos...or used the legos but dremel the little do-dads off and paint them chrome.

Looks like your off to a good start, I think you might need to move the grips and control box back a little bit though, it doesn't look like there will be enough room for the piece that goes behind the shourd.

The Legos and cardboard are just so I could see what it would look like if I had the real peices. There not part of the finished poduct. Sorry about that.

    RYAN J.

P.S. The band around the saber is pvc pianted black. I heated it up REAL HOT and slipped it over the handle so it might not want to move very easly now.

no...something must have happened...let me know if you want some measurments for the other two pieces i need...I could use a block for the top of the emitter and that detail piece behind it...if your dad is cool with this tell him he is the best and i owe him big time! LOL

The peice is done all i have to do now is spraypaint it and I will send you pictures. if you give me the measurements I will see what I can do about the other peices. It's getting towards summer break at my dad's Job and they take his keys away over that period so if there not done before summer break you will have to wait a little longer. I will pass your complements on to my dad!!
