See, now I can't look at that image in the same way and it's all your fault!

 

I am now totally unable to look at that panel where the one Royal Guard in the throne room is standing like two inches to the left of where he should be without thinking of Havac calling it "Gulacy-level Escherism."

 

Well, Hav has form where Gulacy is concerned!

 

Aww - sorry!!! It's my fault - I get really bugged out by the tiniest details sometimes, but it does really bother me. lol

 

Tempting as it is to quip 'apology accepted', one really isn't required!

 

Goodness - as soon as I read that I could hear Vader saying it in ESB - made the hairs on the back of my neck come up - good one!!!

I got caught with this. The store I'm getting my subscriptions from has a huge lead time. I ended up having to order #1 #2 and #3 individually because the first one delivered on my subscription would be #4. They were very helpful though when I rang them to make sure I'd understood what to do. Previously I've tended to wait for the TPB's to come out a lot of the time, buying comics only when I couldn't wait. I couldn't wait for Issue #1 and then decided to go for the comics until I know what format collections will be in. (I heard somewhere that they're not going to produce TPB's but I'm not sure how reliable that info is.)

 

Doesn't everyone do that? Yes? 'Good, good'.

"Vos & Ventress vs Vader" maybe? We know Ventress is depicted with a yellow lightsaber on the cover of Dark Disciple.

 

Are there any other covers that you know of?

 

I want to see Vader steal one of those lightsabers, and duel wield it with his red one. Before getting in the suit, the last time we saw him duel with two blades, he was pretty effective against Barriss.

 

He did that in Vader #2 though. With his own lightsaber, no less.

 

I thought there was gonna be 12 issues of this. Along with Leia and Kanan's comics? At least, that's what it says on the Marvel website when you order them.

 

I think that's referring to a yearly subscription.

Vader is an ongoing series therefore will keeping going until marvel decides to cancel it.

I bet the cover is a misdirection. It'll probably turn out to be some bounty hunter who uses lightsabres or something like that

Three issues into the Marvel line and I'm stoked. The feel is so OT and you know, unlike the other comics, I feel that this is almost cinematic. Everything from the lighting to the drawing to the coloring and the story hits at precise spots, much like the OT movies. The thing that I always enjoyed of the OT was that no one area could stand apart. The story, special effects, the acting of the characters, the music/soundtrack, along with sets and scenes all made the trilogy special. No matter how many times you saw it, there was always something new to gain. I'm feeling this way with the first two issues of Marvel Star Wars as well as the first issue of Darth Vader. And the colors on that one is even better than the Marvel Star Wars run. Scary, makes me wonder what they will do not only with the rest of the series, but Princess Leia, the Kanan story and everything else that they haven't announced.

Of all the words to describe Jedi Knight, it's so odd to me that he went with "fascinating".

 

Does Kanan have a comic? I would really like to read that! Is it out now or is this something waiting for release?

 

It comes out in April and starts with a five issue arc called the last padawan set during order 66
