Darth Vader POTF figure with Clear Lightsaber

I have a POTF Darth Vader figure still packaged, and he has a clear lightsaber instead of red. Anyone know what or why this is?

 

Its just a variation, a mess up on the production line, can you post a pic of it?

 

It's probably just an error. At the same time, the red lightsabers weren't all that red back then. If you go back and look at that Darth and the Darth w/ removable helmet, their sabers look like a light pink.

 

It might also be sun damage......when the Vader with removable helmet came out, I left one in the back of the car for just a day....not enough to fade the card but the lightsaber lost all red coloring to it

People went crazy over it at a show......I wasn't planning on it but sold it for $50....suckers!

It's not a real variation but I guess there's all kinds of nuts out there

 

The saber colors do change in odd ways. I took one of my Epic Force Vaders out of the package and the lightsaber has changed from red to orange.

 

Leave it to Rod to take advantage of the variation hunters.

 

All the removeable helmet sabers are screwed up.
