Darth Vader works for Currys

Has anyone seen the new Currys advert where Darth Vader inspects their staff training programme?

I will expect my local branch to be selling Death Stars by the end of the week. I hope the extended guarantee isn't too expensive.

 

I heard about it but haven't seen it yet.

 

Saw it today. Loved it.

Will never beat the Tunes advert back in the day, though.

Saw it during Downton. Liked it up to the point when Vader used his lightsaber. It you're gonna parody a scene from a film, do it RIGHT and don't oversell it. It was clever enough even without the weapon.

 

Just saw it during the Simpsons on Sky One. Pretty good. I agree on the lightsaber though.

 

I'm willing to bet the lightsaber was just there for the same purpose as the use of TCW and TFU2 in the droids advert. You know, the bits that came complete with handy release dates at the bottom of the screen.
