I think Rey being Obi-Wan's descendant in the movies would be awesome.

However, I do not think this is the case because there was one clue in TFA that really stands out to me.

 

Did I miss something...Pablo gave a definite 'No' to that question.

 

I know, and doubt it will happen,,
but I don't trust these filmmakers, director etc. when they say no this no that!

Also, if none of this stuff pans out, Dave sure is throwing a lot of red herrings out this season.

 

Correction: he gave a no in an intentionally over the top way then they goofily acted like they lost the connection not saying that is DEFINITELY the answer to rey but saying maybe it's closer than we think you know?

 

That might be a stretch. If anything he looked more confused by the question then gave a clear no. The connection issue likely has more to do with him being on vacation (and setting up the call bit) than implying that guess is close to the truth.

 

Kylo's strong Force power is mind reading.

However, during the interrogation scene, Rey reads his mind.

This is an extremely subtle clue from JJ as to who Rey is.

They both have the strong Force power of mind reading.

I think Rey witnessed the death of her father at the hands of her brother.

"How did my father brother die turn". "He ceased to be Anakin Skywalker Ben Solo and became Darth Vader Kylo Ren"

 

Making the Reylo ship all the more horrifying. Anyway, I have a different view which I'll talk about in whatever social thread we're both in (I may have joined too many of those )
