DATE/PLANS FOR FIRST MEET (Come in and let us know what you think)

In all of my wisdom, I've concluded that as of now, the best date to hold our first meeting will be:

Saturday, August 24.

If this date is not good for a fair majority of this up-and-coming fan force then let tell us in this thread ASAP.

The planned meet will go as follows (unless we can decide on something different):

Meet at the new Barnes and Noble.
Easy. We all meet there. nice, calm public place. We meet each other. Introduce ourselves. Get to know a bit. Easy, fun, no pressure.

Go get a small lunch.
We all trapse over to a diner or someplace that can hold a number of people. We get a lunch, talk, joke, make friends. Have a blast.

Go catch a movie.
Decide on what to see, and see it.

Get some dinner.
Afterwards we all get some dinner and laugh and joke, reminesce, and plan the next meet. By then everyone knows everyone else. We know each other's interest. We're left with good times and full guts.

Depart
Happy trails to you. Until we meet again!

If you have any other ideas that you'd rather do, then post it here ASAP.

sounds good enough to me, but i will have work at 10 pm but i doubt our gathering will last that long, or...will it? dum dum DUM!!!!!!

 

I will have to check my schedule, if it is open on the 24th, then I dont see why I couldnt attend!! I shall get back to you guys on that... Jirin, I think that a rideshare may be possible!

The best scenario is having more than that, though, so we can vote fairly for our City Rep and VP. I still would like to have our City Rep be one of your Fresnans, and the V.P. be either DSGeorge, or myself, so we can be responsible for the area up here.

Its a shame I will not be able to attend. I move to Fresno on the 25th. However I would love to come to the next meeting. How many of you own a Rebel type costume?(jedi, Trooper, Pilot, etc.) the reason I ask is because I am looking at starting a Fresno Rebel base with the Rebel Legion. Any interest? something you all can discuss On the 24th.... May the Force be with you

I don't think anybody would nominate anybody else. You've been here a long time and live in Fresno so you'd be the smart choice
But do remember, you do have to plan these things You won't get the shiney blue colors unless you plan two more. But they're easy.
You also need to find us a person to make us a banner
And run a website if it comes to that

ya i'll be taking a few classes at city this semester. and i'd love to make a banner even if i'm not the city rep or whatever, plus we get our own icons and stuff... i'm pretty good with photoshop... and hey za boon cal, your back! too bad you'll be a day late but if you want to come to the next meeting you are welcome to come. i was going to join that rebel leigion when i first heard about it, i had a bad ass costume, but i really needed money so i had to sell my boots, belt, and saber

No lightside costumes here.... However I would love to save up enough dough to pick up some Stormtrooper armor( any variant). How much was it for your Biker Scout armor?
