I'm crushed.

 

I too am speechless, numb. I got his latest album on day of release and have been listening to it each day since, I was really looking forward to discussing it and analysing it in the lead-up to his next record. This came completely out of nowhere and far too soon, especially since the passing of another legend I adore, Lemmy.

 

And who are replacing these legends? ****ing Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber. I weep for the future.

Well the news felt like a punch in the gut. So completely unexpected. Three days after his birthday as well. It's so odd because just this week bbc.com was running articles about his influence on the musical world.

 

TWT was chosen at a time where I literally couldn't find anything else to name myself. My latest, and certainly last, name reflects my personality and demeanour far better than the legend of a passive aggressive Irish-Kiwi with a big chunned (chinned) brother.
